SAFE T SYSTEMS

I have recently moved from NJ to TN, SafeT came highly recommended-- I am am not sure why. They installed our alarm system and that service went fine. We were assigned Tim Barding as our contact to get our internet up and running - One, he was next to impossible to get in touch with and when he did come he made expensive changes to our DSL system that did not work. He was at our home at lease 4 times with a minimum charge of $500 dollars. When I asked him why it was so complicated he replied that it was work security for him. In all of our frustration, my husband called and asked to speak with the owner, Tim actually told my husband that she was too busy and would not call him back for at least two weeks. Well Tim - it has been 2 1/2 months????? |As a consumer, I would stay as far away from this company as possible. | |Message to the owner -- sure you never even heard of me. But don't worry, we have found an excellent provider who as our entire system up and running perfectly and understands the definition of service. Shame on you...

Requested to cancel alarm service after two years (thought this was contract term). Was not informed by representative when canceling the service that the contract was actually three years. All support ended. Two full years later, they are now saying $400 is owed for last year of contract. Even worse, the first and only contact regarding the 'outstanding balance' was a FINAL NOTICE before collections!! They contend that they provided security service for the last year of the contract, but no support was ever provided. The alarm was tripped unintentionally during that time, but no one called to inquire. We had absolutely zero contact until last week when we received the notice. We have tried and tried to resolve this, but the owner dodges calls. "Too busy." I will share this on every possible media outlet available.

We would recommend them. We haven't had any problems. We've used them since February. We pay a monthly monitoring fee.
