Description of Work: Highly recommend.

Description of Work: A tar & gravel roof was stripped off a metal deck and replaced with five inches of insulating board and a heavier-than-normal membrane. The new roof has significantly reduced our heating and cooling costs, and made the building (our home) more comfortable. My problem with RLI was their lack of communication with us. We contracted with RLI in March, but then a big hail storm hit the area. Many people had severe damage to their homes, and naturally they came first. Understandable. But from April to October, there were no status reports from RLI with an estimate of when our job would begin. Only after I called, usually two or three times, did I get a response, and then little information. When the job finally began, the crew did the job pretty quickly although not completing the job in the predicted time frame. Final cleanup and removal of excess material took another two weeks. I have to say they did a professional job on the roof. We're now approximately fifteen months down the road with no problems except a leak around the vent stack for the range vent hood. Again, it was like pulling teeth to get any information on when they could do the job. A crew finally came, unannounced; did not call or knock to announce their arrival. Worked to cure the leak, but only succeeded in partially sealing it. Again, (with the original thirty-seven thousand dollar job) for stripping off the old and installing the new, they did a good job. As far as communicating when they would finally start the job, very poor.
