Description of Work: Dealing with this company has been a nightmare from the beginning. All the glass companies in our area have been really busy because of recent storms/hail damage. We were remodeling our bathroom during the last 2 wks of June and needed glass doors for shower. Also needed to have a large mirror cut down to 2 smaller mirrors. They did send someone out to measure within a few days of our first phone call. I was a little taken aback when the person who came to measure turned out to be very young (teenage?) and apparently is the owner's son. All he brought with him was a tape measure, a level and a scratch pad. He took a few measurements and said that his father would have to come back to measure with the laser level. I asked him if I sent the large mirror with him, could it be cut and ready for pick up within the next couple days. He said it definitely could. Later that day when I called to make arrangements to pick up the mirror, I was met with some resistance by the secretary. I told her I would never have sent the mirror with him if he hadn't told me it could be ready. She then said it could be ready by the next day. When she verified the measurements with me, they were wrong. We scheduled a time for someone to come out with the laser to remeasure for the doors. Again, it was the boy who came out. When I answered the door, he walked past me without so much as a greeting. After he left, I called the secretary (this was June 30th) and made a down payment of half the total cost. Was told installation would take place in 2-3 wks. On July 19th, I hadn't heard anything, so I called. I was told that the order was faxed to the glass company on June 30 but because the manager was on vacation, somehow the ball got dropped and the glass company never got the order. No one at RM had done any follow up on the order until I called today. I was told that they would put a rush on it and that it could be installed by the middle of next week. I informed them that at this point, I have no confidence that the installation would be done right either and I cancelled the order. The secretary kept putting the blame on the glass company, but it was RM's responsibility to make sure the order went through. Sadly, throughout this whole nightmare, Mr Manis never made the effort to contact us about the problems we were encountering.
