The company is quick to show you a property and get the ball rolling, but that’s as far as it goes. They only communicate via text or email, only, and even a response from them is sparse. I’ve had several serious, legitimate situations they needed to have handled and either ignored it completely, or took a week to three months to respond/attend to. I’ve had to threaten to bring outside assistance and have them foot the bill when every pipe in my house overflowed into every sink and tub (I was told by my “landlord” Julie Thacker, IN A TEXT MESSAGE, “oh that’s a busted water main,” to which she proceeded to ignore and not respond to me for four days), and they refused to respond or send help. What kind of professional company only communicates via text messaging? What kind of professional company NEVER answers the phone? What kind of professional company allows a broken water main problem persist, after which they LEAVE THE CORRODED PIPE IN THE FRONT LAWN? What kind of professional company ignores, but months later, tends to property damage from a severe storm? Is it the company, or is it just my “landlord” Julie Thacker? I suppose I’ll never know, being that no one ever responds nor answers their phone. I’m truly surprised to see this company has 11 positive reviews here on Google. I’ve been renting for 11 years, always pay my rent and bills, leave the properties as they were left to me. I am a fine tenant. Of all the companies I’ve rented through, including apartment complexes, this one is by far the worst. I pay $900 a month for this, and to top it all off, it’s in easily one of the worst neighborhoods in Knoxville. I cannot wait to get out of this mess.
