they did the service and stood behind their advice and products....outstanding service.

Long story short our garage door broke and would not come down at 9:30 p.m. A tech named Joe came out within 30 minutes and was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He had the door fixed in about an hour to a point it could be manually shut. We scheduled the following Saturday for him to return in the morning and permanently fix it. He showed up on time and had the job done in a couple of hours. He showed us what he was doing, the parts that needed to be replaced and the proper care. We are grateful for having him help us and will use this company again.

I had scheduled the appointment for 8 to 10 am on Monday. On the preceding Friday, someone from Precision called to ask the appointment could be rescheduled to 10-12. I agreed but stated I had a Dr. appt that I would need to leave at 1:45 pm. The repairman arrived shortly after 9 am. I was delight with that & also the service I received.

He tried to sell me parts that I did not want. He wanted to sell me more than the deal that I had purchased. He only replaced the rollers and squirted silicone on the spring. I would not use him in the future.

The whole story is detailed above. Precision repaired my door and improved it AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE my previous provider advised.

They were really good. They were on time. They took off the extra $200 from the repair kits.

The door failed Wednesday night. I called Precision at about 9 am on Thursday. They told me they would come between 10 am and noon and arrived at about 11 am. They examined the door then explained all the problems to me in detail and what they would do to fix them. It took them about two hours to complete the work. They did a very professional job and I am pleased I contacted them to do the work. The door now works so quietly and smoothly we cannot hear it opening and closing from inside the house.

It went very well and I learned alot about garage door safety . He also showed us how to maintain our garage door so that it stays in good working order.

I called on a thursday, and they scheduled estimate tuesday, which I felt was a little longer than I expected--but I guess they were going through a busy period. They said they had to give me a 2 hour window for giving an estimate, but that they could have a tech call me when they were headed to my house. Having only one hour for lunch (I work 8-5) that was acceptable since I could leave when they called (thankfully I live close to work!). Monday came, they left a message had some emergencies and asked if I could reschedule my estimate for the following Tuesday. I called back and asked if I could get rescheduled any sooner, and they scheduled me for that Thursday, which I appreciated. The tech came out and quickly gave us a quote, after measuring, etc. He even mentioned a magazine that would have a better coupon than what I had (the best coupon was in Mint Magazine--and I had one!) so we thought that was a great help.We picked our specs, and because we had heard good things about this company, we went ahead and ordered. They require a 50% deposit for the ordering of the door. Since we had the money saved, that wasn't a problem. I did have to call to set up the appointment for install, I waited a few days and no one called (I had been told they would) and when I reached them, they gave me the approximate date the garage door would be in and we scheduled that same week for an install. The install went as scheduled; the tech called ahead when he was on his way (close to his scheduled time), and it took about 4 hours for install. Everything was tidy and clean when the tech finished, he had us put the code in and was off! Over all, it worked out well! The belt driven opener is near whisper quiet in comparison to our old metal door, and the opener comes with a lifetime warranty. Included were 2 remote openers and the keypad, and they wired a switch by our interior door as well, for the light/door operation. I spec'd out a door similar, with install at Home Depot and the price was similar. They weren't the cheapest either, but I felt best with this decision. Since I'd heard good things about Precision I went with them, and I think it was the right choice.

I had a broken spring and called a couple places to get quotes and check on availability. Precision was the second place I called and had a slightly cheaper 'quote' for replacing the springs (somewhere around 5 or 10 dollars). Based on reviews here and that they were also able to come out that day, I went with them. Technician arrived on time and looked over the garage with me. My doors are very old and in somewhat poor condition, so I knew that he would try to sell a new system, which was fine. I informed him that I just wanted to replace the springs and let him get to work. I think it was at this time that I found out that the price quoted to me on the phone was incorrect, and that it would actually be more due to type of springs (I believe 10 to 20 more). I would like to think was an honest mistake since the phone agent didn't necessarily know my exact garage, but it is still annoying to have the price increase. It took him 30 minutes or so to complete the work, and he informed me that he had tightened up some of the random bolts and replaced a bolt that holds the spring. The garage door was in the up position and I never saw him test the garage with the opener after his work was complete, but it seemed to close, he went on his way, and I didn't think much of it. Later I noticed that the door was actually closing at a slant leaving a one inch gap on the left side and found that one of the cables was off of the pulley. Granted, this was easy for me to fix, but seems like something that he should have noticed or fixed. It may have also done it on it's own, but I've never had the cable jump out of the pulley before or after the service. The cables seem looser than I would expect they should be in the relaxed position based on instructions I've seen, but I default to the experts. Overall it is now fixed and has been working since the service, but I'm not sure that I would use them again. I also noticed in the days later when I first thought about writing this review that there was a coupon for waiving the service call fee (my fault if it was actually available)! If I had payed the total less the service call fee, I may have thought the service was a better value.

The technician was very knowledgeable, profressional, very pleasant, and PROMPT. He took extreme care not to drop anything or damage my husband's motorcycle's that I couldn't move out of the way. Was not pushy - didn't try to get me to buy a more expensive repair package. I will absolutley call this company again when I have trouble with my garage door.

Thomas called in advance as requested and showed up on the agreed upon time. Tried several different approaches to solve my remote problems, which he did solve. Also did a thorough review of my system and made recommendations but without excessive sales pressure.I appreciated the experience. Saw them on ANgie's List and now I am a satisfied custo,er of both Precision and Angie.

This company advertises "same day service", and they mean it. I hardly hung up from them, when their repairman arrived. Very, very prompt service. Aside from moving the object away from the sensor, the repairman wanted to sell me much more. He quoted me an overhaul, replacing this and that. Not sure I need all of that, and I thought the prices were very high. He explained that someday the door spring, and everything that holds the entire door together, are going to break, and I would be stuck in the garage. Possible? Absolutely. I'm not one to buy on impulse, so I declined his offer to provide the pricey overhaul. I'm sure I'll be calling a repairman again, most likely sooner than later. I'll shop around for other prices for the overhaul. If the others are close to Precision's, I'll probably go with them.

No story; when problem arose I called Precision they made an appointment for the same day. The serviceman arrived when promised, promptly repaired the door. Has been working fine since then.

Nice folks who appear to have provided a quality product. The new opener is very quiet, fast and reliable. I did think they were expensive, but they responded very quickly and did good work. I absolutely would use them again, but I might comparison price shop and see if I could get them to match lower estimates.

The pricing seemed to be a little high. He was pretty good and his service is holding up well.

It is impossible for us to be more pleased with the company or their products. Thomas arrived when promised and did an outstanding job of removing and replacing our entire garage doors and openers. He patiently trained us on the use and programming on the exterior panel and left everything looking far better than he found it. I would highly recommend this provider to ANYONE who needs new equipment or existing equipment repaired!

Their price was very good for what we paid. The quality of their work was extremely good. They were very straight forward when they did the estimate for me as well as when they did the work. I call the door as the quietest garage door in the world. Overall, I had a very good experience with them and I would appreciate them tremendously. I would use them in future if I have another garage door to be replaced.

We did not use them because they were almost twice as high than the company that we used to replace all the parts on the garage door.

I initially called and got an answering service that was very polite and accommodating. They were able to access a local calendar and set an appointment for a consult. Thomas was on time and gave me a quote that was precisely inline with our established budget. Thomas was on time for the actual installation as well and did a very accurate and professional job (including programming the garage openers in my Toyota Avalon). Price and product are all great, and we bought a lifetime waranty on everything. We COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Excellent Service. Excellent (and unbelievably quiet) product.

They were fine. They were on time and did a good job. They were fairly priced too.

They came out and did the service on the doors, without any problems. I wish I would have known it was as easy as it was. They arrived on time, did the job, and then left. They did what I asked them to do. The price was a little high for what they did, but I didn't realize how easy of a fix it was going to be. I realize they will have some sort of minimum fee just for sending someone out. I don't know what the range of prices are, but I would say it is fair.
