Pete came promptly, purchased the needed part and installed it. The whole thing was quick and easy.

The problem started when I was attempting to repair a refrigerator's water supply. It very quickly turned into an issue beyond my scope. I got Pete's Plumbing number through a friend of a friend. They answered the phone (not a dispatch or other service) and made arrangements to come out that evening. It would have been past 9 p.m. by time they completed the job they were on currently. I was able to get my leak stopped and water back on so he agreed to come out in the morning. He called before he arrived, arrived when he said, fixed everything completely, and displayed experienced knowledge and professionalism the entire time they were in my home and cleaned up before they left. Highly recommend

They were easy to work with. They were quick and they got everything done in a day. They charged us a very fair price. I would definitely use them again.

A pinhole leak had developed inside a wall in an elbow in a copper pipe feeding cold water to the washing machine. We first discovered it when we noticed a puddle of water in the utility room floor late one afternoon. We called a plumber who had done work for us before but he said he was too busy to come. Our neighbor devised a temporary fix and we called another plumber who agreed to come the following day. He didn't come as scheduled and when we called him to ask why, he quoted an hourly rate (with a two-hour minimum) that we felt was much too high. Third, my husband called a young man he'd met in Lowe's plumbing department who said he and his dad did plumbing and had a plumbing company. (He turned out to be the son of the owner of Pete's Plumbing.) He agreed to come to our house the following day to look at the job. He arrived promptly as scheduled, offered to fix the leak (which, because of the location inside the wall, was not an easy job) for a reasonable amount. He was pleasant, helpful, and did an excellent job in fixing the leak. We felt he was quite professional and would certainly recommend him to others.

City Codes Enforcement surprised us with a notice that our lateral sewer line had to be replaced immediately. (We thought we had an understanding with KUB that we could do the work ourselves, at our own pace sometime this spring.) We called Pipe Wrench Plumbing who gave us an estimate of $2400 to do the job, explaining that with their high tech equipment they could replace the pipe without digging a trench. We got a second estimate for $1400, even if we did all the digging for them. We then located Oldham Plumbing on Angie's List. Mr. Oldham was professional and courteous, but he still came back with an estimate of $1124, which was more than we thought this job should cost. Finally, on the advice of a neighbor, we called Pete's Plumbing, who came the same day we called. He said that if we purchased the materials, he could do the job for $635. We purchased the materials Pete listed for $180. Pete began and finished the work that same day we had called, even though it started raining during the work. He and his crew were all pleasant and easy to get along with. They contacted City Codes and the work was inspected and approved. The ground was pretty rough when they quit, but they left several bales of straw there, as if they planned to return when the ground was dry to smooth it out, spread seed and cover it with the straw. They never did return, nor did they call us, and we did not call them. It took me about 5-1/2 hours to smooth out the ground with a shovel and rake, but I think it was still worth it to have saved from between $309 and $1585. I would hire them again for the speed and low price, but would be sure to negotiate site restoration up front.
