Removed old fencing well. Erected new fence using wood that had been spray painted with green paint. I pointed this out to the crew before the fence was erected, and I was told that the spray paint was chalk used to mark treated wood and would wash off with rain. It has now rained probably twenty times, and the "chalk" looks exactly the same. One of the gates is not in the position that we discussed. Several of the pickets are uneven and do not meet the ground. Clearance beneath the driveway gates is large enough to allow a small animal in or out. The wood edge under the gate that was trimmed to allow clearance of my slanted driveway is scalloped and uneven. I think rather than removing the gate to cut it they tried to do a quick job with the gate already hanging. I wrote a letter to the company detailing all of this to which I have received no response. This fencing was "inspected" by one of the owners and found to be acceptable. I think his name was Darren or Daryl. Fittingly enough, the sign that they attach to the fence advertising their company is also crooked! I got their recommendation from a friend and should have done more research.
