Mullins Paint Company

I wrote the F review below. Please disregard that review. Mr mullins contacted me to apologize profusely and he kept his word and painted today. He definitely made it right so now I would highly recommend him. He is doing a great job painting and is a very nice young man.

Thomas was responsive and professional. He did a beautiful job of painting for us and we couldn't be happier with the quality of his work and the fair price he charged. We will definitely keep him in mind for any other interior painting we need in the future. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

Mullins Painting did a great job. Our house is old and many areas needed repairing before he could paint. He repaired areas and painted. He also replaced flood lights on house to high up for us to reach and repaired porch light. I will definitely use Thomas Mullins again.

Thomas is hands down the best painter we have ever met. We've had teams of painters many times in three homes that we own, and none of them compare to him. He's so thorough and so efficient he easily does the work of two or three painters. He's also a joy to work with, very polite and courteous and very eager to ensure his work meets expectations (and it certainly does).

Very neat. He was able to estimate pretty accurately how long job would take. We supplied some of the paint as we requested.

Thomas painted 2 bedrooms and living room and I was very surprised how detailed he was. I've hired painters in the past and he's definitely the best. I will definitely hire again for future projects.

Thomas was wonderful! He was so easy to work with and he worked with my schedule to squeeze us in before we had some landscaping done. He did an excellent job and put multiple coats of stain on our fence to make sure it looked the best it could. I was very impressed with him. He was even patient when our outside electrical outlets tripped and I was at work so I couldn't do anything about it. I fixed the problem that evening and he came out promptly the next day (I felt so bad that he had to come back!). Overall, just a great guy and we will probably call on him for several things in the coming years.

Thomas has done work for us before and continues to impress! Again, the work he did looks amazing. He has transformed the inside of our house. He is gracious, hardworking and very skilled. His prices are great and he works very fast, because he's so good at what he does. Can't say enough good things about this company!

Just some background: our house is a typical 1970s split level, with a brick lower and wooden vertical siding for the upper, with a front porch, back porch, and back screened porch. It went great! I was a little nervous, as Thomas works by himself and it is a large house, but he was great! He was there by 9a every day - if not earlier, and stayed until 5p every day. The rain pushed our painting to the right, which was not his fault, but he made up for it 10 fold! He was very detailed in the work. We did not have a stray paint mark on the window panes, nor on the brick. We wanted to do a little contrasting color in the fascia, and I was happy he immediately saw my vision! As he started to paint the screened porch, he suggested maybe I use the contrast color instead of the white. Man was he right! It looks great! He had several little suggestions like this throughout the process, and every time, he nailed it. The entire process was very smooth and went better than I could have imagined! If/when we ever need anything else painted, this will be my first call.

He arrived early and got right to work, he tarped off our furniture and did a lot of prep like patching and filling voids in the walls. Once he started , the walls were in worse shape than he determined on his initial walk threw. He had a lot of patching and sanding. He was very respectful of our home and he was a very fast worker and very conscientious with his painting. He really put a lot of time in and worked a very full day. One of the walls needed a lot more work so he offered to come back another day and work on it again at no extra charge to us. He is working on an estimate for more painting in our home. At the end of he cleaned up and helped us move some of the heavy pieces back in place.

The owner was very honest about his schedule, so I booked time in October and December for my home to be painted. The owner misunderstood my schedule and thought finishing the job quickly was a priority. The price was good, but I would have liked the painter to have take his time more. My home is an older home, so consideration should have been given to minimize how much blemishes would show or more work could have been done to smooth out the walls.

Thomas did an excellent job. He showed up on time every day, worked hard, kept us informed of his progress and plans and was meticulous with clean up. We couldn't be happier with his work. An honest & hardworking young man with a great eye for detail and very talented painter! We will be using him for our next project and highly recommend him to all.

We received 3 bids for the same job. $2400 - $3500 - $5600 The additional $300 we paid him was for extra work we decided to let him do so I could cross it off my Honey Dew List. I checked Angie's List and found all 3 contractors had great reviews. I called Thomas to come back out to make sure we were working on the same page. I made a list of all doors, ceilings etc. to be painted. He started the job one month later. He was a one man team which was OK with us since we weren't in a hurry. He moved heavy furniture by himself and replaced all by himself. Thomas was on time every day (8 days) he was here. He did an excellent job. He was clean; cleaned up after himself every day; didn't leave each day until he felt it was OK to leave. We provided him with lunch each day. Treat your workers with respect is what my mother always said. While eating, he would scrutinize his previous work. He was always polite and thankful for the lunch. He sometimes found an area he was not satisfied with leaving as is. I can go on and on. He was the perfect painter for our needs. My wife & I are VERY happy we hired him.

This was a week's plus job for Thomas. He worked very hard, sometimes coming in between some contract work, but he put in a lot of hours. A nicer guy you'll never meet and honest, too. Takes pride in his work, honors his commitments, is respectful of your property and gives you a helluva finished product in the end. My wife is very picky about painting as she believes her painting talents are unassailable. She had to admit Thomas was excellent and better than she could have done. I wouldn't hesitate hiring him for any painting job you may have. He's efficient, price competitive and just an all around great guy! SUPER !!!

Incredible job!! Thomas was very prompt in his responses, arrived at the set time, and completed the job in a very timely fashion. The quality of work was excellent and could not have been done better! Have received many compliments already! The pricing was reasonable for all included and would definitely contact him again for future needs. It wiill be hard to find anyone else with such a great work ethic and respect for the client and the client's property. Highly recommend to anyone needing any work done!

Thomas is awesome. He is very professional, kind, hardworking and a perfectionist at his job! Thomas arrived each day on time and jumped right into his work. He works fast and our kitchen, foyer, hallway, stairwell and sunroom look amazing. Before he left we had him quote the upstairs bedrooms, garage and outside shutters and doors. Work we thought we would do over the next year ourselves, he will now be doing. It's great to find someone reliable and great at his job. He is worth the wait if your job is schedule a few weeks out! Mr. Mullins was very professional and the paint job looks great. I plan to use him again in the near future.
