The owner worked with us - pleasant and professional, efficient, clean & timely. Time to begin agreed on - 2 - 3. Very friendly and very competent as they worked with and around us. 5 painters arrived Wed. afternoon to finish the painting. Mostly done Mon - Wed.!

Brian Mase was very professional. He was on time and repaired both my storm door and faucet. Highly recommend Brian Mase.

When asked to give an estimate on an entry door I was given a quote w/o having made a selection of a door. When I received the quote no mention was made of the cost of the door. I questioned this and was told it was based on a cost of $2200 for a door. That information was not mentioned anywhere in the cost estimate. The gentleman who gave me the quote was supposed to send me some ideas (pictures) of a few doors. He said he was not able to do that because there must be some copyright on the software (or something to the affect). I got on Thermatru's website and had no trouble building and saving door designs and emailing them to others for their opinions. So, I emailed them to Mr. Handyman's technician. Two weeks went by and I still did not have an estimate on the two doors I sent him. He told me he could get a better price if I went through him to procure them. So, after two weeks I contacted him to see if there was a problem. He said he thought I had them. He said they must be on the computer of one of the three girls who work the front office. He would find them and have them emailed to me. A couple of hours later I got one of them. The quote had been prepared by Home Depot after the Mr. Handyman technician had contacted me to say he didn't know where they were or why I had not received them. It was dated 10/2/2015 at 11:52 AM. So, first of all it seems he did not have the quotes already and second, it was for one door (not both). The technician called to see if I got them and I explained I only got the one. I told him not to spend anymore time on it. I explained this had been a bad experience and I would not use them to install a door; instead I would call someone else.

It was a lot more expensive than I thought but he DID ALOT. We had issues with rotten wood we did not expect. He was professional and had no problems doing the work. I have used their service a number of times now (at least 4) and every time they are good. It does cost a lot but sometimes it's just worth it to get the job done and and not wonder if the contractor knows what he's doing. Sometimes you worry is he going to come back and steal something. The number of things that go through your mind when you don't know someone. I have no fears what so EVER. You have no worries with Mr. Handyman. I also have them do such a variety of things that it does pay off NOT to have a separate contractor for each thing. ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, ETC, I would recommend them to anybody. No worries they are good.

Justin was on time, fairly priced, worked steady, very polite and professional. Conscientious, explained steps well. Did a good job.

I had an appointment to look at the job on a Tuesday afternoon and got the estimate within a day or so. On Friday afternoon I was to meet with Allen to pick tiles for the bathroom and backsplash but he called at 8 :30 am and said that if i could meet him that morning, they could get started immediately. We met at 11 and by the time I returned from work in the evening the old floor and toilet were gone, the door was fixed and rehung, and the materials were in the garage. They came back Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to lay tile and grout and it was all done. They even fixed a leaky toilet flapper in the main floor powder room. They were very friendly and helpful and the bill ended up almost spot on to the estimate. I am very pleased!

I thought the entire ceiling would need to be replaced, but it only needed a small repair. Very thankful for his honesty and it saved us around $600!

Other than a mix-up with the dispatcher which was quickly resolved, no problems. Mike was pleasant, quick and efficient.

Brian was on time. He explained everything that needed to be done. He gave a good estimate on the time needed to complete the work.

Technician called to let me know he was on his way and arrived right on schedule. He was friendly and polite. He removed the old sink, faucet and disposal in a timely manner. When he started to install the new sink, he informed me that he would need to run to Home Depot to purchase a new blade for his saw and some plumbing materials. He left and was gone for almost an hour, which of course, was included in the time I was paying for. When he returned, he took another 2 1/2 hours to install the new sink, faucet and disposal. I thought for a professional it took a little long, but it was exactly the maximum time I was told when I scheduled the service. A few hours after the tech left, I noticed the faucet was loose. I used the garbage disposal and dirty was shot out the other side of the sink. A few days later, I called Mr. Handyman back and spoke with Shelly. She was very apologetic and scheduled the tech to come back out and take a look. When the tech arrived, he seemed upset that he had to come back. He looked at the sink and came out to tell me that he could not see anything wrong with the disposal and couldn't recreate the problem I was having. He did say he forgot to tighten the faucet down and needed to grab his tools from the truck to fix that. While he was at his truck, I got the disposal to shoot the dirty water out the other sink and showed him again when he returned. He seemed even more frustrated that there actually was a problem. He spent the next hour trying to figure out why it was doing this. He said maybe I had clogged the drain pipe with grease, which I told him was not the problem. He took the pipe off and looked at it and it was in fact clean. He told me he couldn't figure out what was wrong and the owner was going to hire a plumber to come out and look at it. The owner called me to get my permission to have the plumber call me to set up the appointment. The owner was very nice and helpful. The plumber, not Mr. Handyman, came out and within 2 minutes knew exactly what the problem was. The problem was fixed. I will not use Mr. Handyman again. Their prices are extremely high and I don't have confidence in their technicians.

They were fast, efficient, and very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I am planning to use this company again for a list of handyman projects soon.

This could not have gone better. Charles clearly takes pride in his work. He went above and beyond to do a very professional repair that won't leave me having to have this fixed ever again. When it was time for me to pay, he reviewed the charges and explained everything. GREAT JOB! I also have to say that Karen, who scheduled my appointment for today and also the backup appointment, was very professional and did a great job getting me taken care of.

We chose to purchase the needed supplies ourselves to save money. the only problem we had was the estimator had written down a "pressure treated" board for the garage frame. The technician that came to do the installation said it wouldn't "hold" paint and that I should have purchased an untreated board. While they started on the other work, I ran to the lumber yard and exchanged the board. they were able to send out a second technician to get the work done faster for us that day. Both were very friendly and professional and knew what they were doing. I will absolutely call them again!
