Description of Work: Called for a quote on a small job at my home. Discussed job over the phone. Got a call the next day from a nice woman who gave me the contractor's quote, site unseen over the phone. No follow up.

Description of Work: Checked a few of the options on Angies List but they were overpriced. It doesn't help to have a "trusted" list if they want to price gouge you. They seem to think women are too stupid to know when they are being over charged.

Description of Work: Mr. Handyman installed 2 exterior doors to the patio and a new garage door opener. All the work was completed in the time-frame quoted up front. My handyman was skilled at his job, efficient, and very friendly. Mr. Handyman may not be the lowest cost handyman service I found, but they were fair, friendly, responsive, professional, and available on short notice. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to call them again if I need help with more projects around my new house.

Description of Work: He arrived 25 minutes late & I got a kick out of the vehicle stating On Time Service. He definitely knew how to do things and actually repaired my light fixture like new again. Very pleased about that & he knew what he was doing repairing the deck. It was miserably hot out & he took a lot of breaks to cool off in his vehicle. I think he was making a lot of phone calls too but don't know that for a fact. When he worked he was exceptional. He had to go to Home Depot for a part for the light fixture and to pick up 2x8 ft boards for the deck. I went online to the Home Depot site & priced 2x8 ft boards. 15 boards did not price at what was chg'd. Do not know what the plastic part for the light fixture was called or what it cost. He was gone about 1 1/2 hrs. Home Depot is 20 minutes away. When he worked, about 5.5 hours, he was excellent.

Description of Work: Corey was very knowledgable and enthusieastic about any work we needed him to do. He works hard and completes tasks in a short amount of time. I WILL definately use his services again.

Description of Work: I had a short in a receptacle and I needed the receptacle replaced. I had already purchased the part to be replaced and figured that the job would not take more than 15-20 minutes for an electrician. The company indicated that their minimum was $158 that included the service call and an hour of labor. I was told that I could have the repairman perform any other task that I desired for the remainder of the time left after the receptacle repair was made. The repairman arrived and took a look at the faulty receptacle then returned to his service vehicle. I thought that he would arrive with the tools he needed and ready to work. After a few minutes he did return and completed the repair. It probably took a half hour to do that. The other work I needed to have performed was to clear 2 downspouts that I thought might (or might not) have leaves obstructing the water flow. When I told the individual what else I needed to have done, he wanted to climb up on my roof to look at the gutters. Since it was very cold I thought it was a bad idea to walk around on the shingles and I didn't need him on the roof to clear the downspouts. That could easily have been done from a ladder at both ends of the house (which I have done on several occasions). I thought that he probably didn't want to climb a ladder to do the job so, since there was nothing else I could think of that I really needed done, he gave me a receipt and left. I would have been satisfied with the repair and downspout clearing but the cost for just replacing a receptacle was excessive. The company did send me a credit (I think was $25) toward future repairs using their company but I can't afford to pay for a service call and another hour of labor less the credit.
