The work went well. Jon Carter did the estimate and started the work immediately. I did not have to wait to get it started and done. Jon and Mike the the work. They were pleasant to work with and very professional with high quality work. A good experience.

The pricing was the best from them and the work that was done was excellent.

They are very professional, came out when promised and did the work as required. Compared to other services of this type they are very expensive. But if you need to get something done in a hurry and don't have time to deal with scheduling problems then I would highly recommend.

Performed work in a reasonable amount of time and we were pleased with the results.

They're always very dependable. I had no problem with them in my house without me there. They always cleaned up and they are fantastic.

Overall I had a very good experience with them. They were very responsive, professional, and skilled. We had one small piece of mis-communication regarding one piece of materials needed, but that was easily resolved. The service tech was very professional, pleasant, and skilled. I am very happy with the results of the work he did. I would have no problem calling them again.

Their work is excellent. Everything was done as we wanted it and they asked whenever there were any questions about how to do things. They are a bit pricey because of their overhead. But you get quality work, which in the end pays for itself. They will also work with you to find ways of keeping totals down (this includes coupons).

The overall experience went very well. In refinishing the house, Mr. Handyman found some unexpected surprises which they dealt with in a professional manner. His employees showed up on time and cleaned their work area when they completed the work for the day. Mr. Handyman worked with us on the estimate and stayed within our budget.

Mr. Handyman assessed the viability of structural supports. Ripped off old ceramic tile decking and Schulter matting which had been installed incorrectly by the original builder, Brentwood Builders, out of Nashville. Made repairs to plywood substructure, braced where needed, and put down weather proofing over the repaired spots. Installed concrete board and another weatherproofing mat over that. Then installed mortar bed with new tile and grout. They also tore off the rusted aluminum trim and replaced with new non-rusting material. We are quite pleased with the results. This firm was very conscientious for the most part and we do have to say that we interviewed a number of different contractors, but this was not an easy fix. Mr. Handyman was the first contractor who laid out a plan such that we felt he could do the job and as it turned out did it very well. It was important to be onsite during working hours as there were a number of questions that needed to be answered and tools to be lent in certain situations. We also asked Mr. Handyman for other references regarding the repair to the stucco failure on the house and so far we have been impressed.

John Carter arrived at the scheduled time. He reviewed what we were going to have done and took a look at all the projects. The lady on the phone told me that if I had already purchased the parts that they would install them and it would actually cost me less than having them supply the parts, so I made a trip to Lowes and had the parts ready. John made all the repairs, checked and made sure that everything was working satisfactorily and reviewed the work with me and presented me with a bill which was actually under the estimate. The work was done well and very professionally. He gave me a list of all the services that they perform and a discount coupon for the next time I call them. I will definitely call them again when I need help with projects around the house.

They were responsive - however, after being there enough time to rack up a bill - the guy was unable to do the work (which is why I scored them low on professionalism. The guy was nice enough and tried to be helpful - but......). Based on a later experience it is my opinion that he was over his head when it comes to plumbing issues and was unable to resolve either issue. HUGE waste of money. I would not recommend using them again for anything the least bit complex.

Totally 100% pleased with the responsiveness, the quality of the people, and the service. Penny worked to get us worked in quicker than scheduled and Craig Smith worked quickly, efficiently, and was a total pleasure to work with. Will definitely use these folks for our next need,

They were very fast at responding and coming out to our house. We did not use Mr Handyman and therefore cannot say anything aboput their work but i can tell you that their pricing is outrageous for what needed to be done. We were told we needed to change the entire bathroom floor because of a leaking toilett. Well it turns out the floor is not wet or rotten, we just need a new toilett that wont leak into the pipping when not flushing. Even if we had decided to actually change the entire floor, we got half the estimate from another company with the same ratting as Mr handyman (actually better rating since they have an A on pricing as well). As it turns out it doesnt look like we will need to change the floor at all. I do not know if the problem was them trying to make a small job bigger than it was or them just not knowing what was going on but unfortunately this has made me loose faith in Mr Handyman and will not be calling them again.

He came in and attacked each issue in order of my priorities. He was aware of my concern about cost (limited budget) and was diligent to keep on track and keep me informed.

After doing the measurements he started telling me that would need get all the materials, move the appliances and other furniture out, etc., and said the more we did, the cheaper it would be. I asked him to estimate both ways with us getting the materials and him getting the materials. He stated he would have the estimates to us by Monday. That was just over a week ago now, and we have not heard a word from him or anyone else at the company. Needless to say, we are now having to look elsewhere! If there was a problem, or if they just thought they couldn't do the job, they could have at least had the decency to call and tell us! We did not deserve to be treated this way!

He was a hard worker and showed up on time. The price I was quoted was $450 and it ended up being $650 because they worked an extra 2 hours. The price went up a little bit because it took them longer than they said.

Very prompt. Started work to completion. Friendly. Complained about owner. Complained about the wages.

This was my first use of Mr. Handyman. Over the phone I had asked if I would receive a written dollar estimate prior to the beginning of work and my understanding was that I would. However, the handyman on the job refused to do so. He only wanted to give me a verbal "not to exceed". I had utilized a different handyman service previously, before they left the business, and they ALWAYS gave a written dollar estimate with a cost range and a top end "not to exceed". Since it was a small job, I agreed for him to go ahead on the verbal basis of a $200 "not to exceed". He was efficient and did a good job. On the "would you use again in the future?" question, I answered "yes" since there was no "maybe" category. My answer is actually "maybe" on the basis of the refusal to give a written dollar estimate.

They were reasonably priced and worked fast and did a great job.

It went very well. I would not hesitate to use this Mr. Handyman franchise again, or to refer them to friends, relatives and business associates and clients. The estimates were VERY competitive. The slogan of "On Time, Done Right" is very accurate.

I have used Mr. Handyman multiple times and have always been very happy with their work every time big or small job. The patches and repair of where pictures had been mounted etc were perfect. The trim was perfect. They clean after themselves and are very respectful of my time. They installed new tile in my shower and tile at my entry way. Everything was perfect and smooth. Alan's team also cleaned up and completed work left incomplete by another contractor beautifully. These are people I would love to be able to use and keep anywhere I move.

Craig came out on the date above and installed our over the stove microwave/range hood, including putting in an electrical outlet up there for it, and installed 2 dial switches on the bathroom fan switches, even rearranging the order of the switches in one bathroom so that that switch was on the inside of a 3-switch plate. He was a little late arriving, but when I called the office, they contacted him and got me an ETA, and he arrived not long after that...I know well, having done some renovations on our new house, that some things don't get done in the time expected, and was not surprised when he was not there exactly on time. He was done the work in a timely period, and I even had to leave him in my home alone to lock up as I had an appointment I had to leave for, which he did. He did such a good job, for a very reasonable price (they charged by the hour) and gave me a very reasonable estimate on coming back to do my counter tops, I called the office immediately to book a time for him to return. He will be here next week, after we are able to pick up the counter tops we ordered, and I'll post an update then, but so far, I am quite pleased with the pricing and service. I will definitely consider using them as needed in the future. I live in West Knoxville.

They were punctual. They were very professional. We were very pleased. They did a little bit of painting around the trim work. They were reasonable.

They were excellent and I would highly recommend them. I was real pleased with them.
