They did the job. From start to almost finish. I still have two plugs with no power in my kitchen. They really don't care about the final project. I get the impression they are just doing a job and what ever gets it done fast is fine with them. My switches are coved by trim in areas. My three ways are weird and not intuitive. I would have thought that as long as they have been doing it that they would have a good intuition about what works. I was wrong. You need to outline every detail for them. If you are like me and don't quite understand the details because you are not in the construction business, then you need to pay someone to outline these details for them. They also have many jobs going at one time. So getting them to come back is very difficult. I had to wait weeks every time in needed something, which ended up holding the job back several weeks. Who knows, maybe they still plan to come fix my two outlets that don't work and I am just down on the schedule. But it has been two months since I called them. If you want a high quality attention to detail job, this is not your company. If you want a cost effective job and have time to wait, they are great. They are very friendly, nice, courteous and a pleasure to work with, which is worth a lot. ...after note... They did come back and fix the two outlets.

THE WHOLE HOUSE WAS WIRED DURING NEW CONSTRUCTION...THEY WERE PROMPT AND WELL EXPERIENCED WITH LOTS OF IDEAS

Great experience. All of the electricians were knowledgeable, professional, and willing to discuss and give great advice. They were prompt and finished work in a timely manner. I have no complaints about this company. As a matter of fact a friend who knows about electrical work came by and was impressed with the way they were doing their work. He stated they were going above and beyond with the quality of wire as most companies would have used cheaper wiring.
Description of Work: Whole house new construction wiring, exterior ceiling fans, undergroung wiring from pole to house.

I called because my outside light post had quit working. I am a bit knowledgeable of things electric and knew enough to check breakers and GFI's on outlets before calling for help. He called me when he said he would and was very prompt and punctual on the day he came out to do the job. My husband was home to meet him. He went through all the processes I had, as he should have and then used a tester on it. He knew he was not getting electricity all the time if he moved it and told me on the phone later he could hear popping down in the pole. So instead of taking the pole up and fixing it, which is what I had intended for him to do. He moved the wire till it came on, put the light back on the pole, charged me $65 and left. Of course, by the time I got home it had already quit working again. He called me the next day with a quote for some other things I wanted done and told me we would need to pull the pole up before he would come back to work on it. Hrm.
Description of Work: Attempted to fix exterior lamp on pole with an electrical outlet on it that was completely dead.

I was asked to come and check out the post light and give an estimate for things to be done inside. I checked the post light found the problem to be the wire inside the post or below grade to be damaged. I pulled the light fixture, remade the poor connections, bypassed photo eye, restored power to the receptacle. What I did was not intended to be a permanent repair. I talked with the member at the time I was there and told him that what I was doing would not fix the problem and if he wanted to save money by pulling the post and removing the plantings around it he could then call me and I would return with proper material and make the repair at that time and reset the post. He said ok; I told him to think about it and let me know. I later called the member and gave her an estimate for additional work for inside; and at that time nothing was said about any dissatisfaction. I think there has been some miscommunication or misunderstanding. We care what our customers think about our service and we're sorry they were unhappy. Darryl Merritt

I paid $50 for that work and my experience with them was excellent. I was impressed with the time lines and the price because it was less than what I thought I was going to pay. They were able to finish the work in less than 30 minutes and I was able to ask several other questions about the house as far as the electrical goes, and they were able to calm my fears. They are a company I would use in the future because they were prompt, professional and cleaned up after them selves. I liked that they were able to respond to my needs so quickly. I called a couple of other electrical companies and they were not able to put me on their schedule that day, but they were able to come out at that very moment. It is nice to know that you can call someone and get a quick response, especially with my problem that was very simple electrical problem.
Description of Work: I used Mountain Electric Inc. at the end of May or beginning June because there was a broken wire for a wall switch for the lights in the front room and they came out within 30 minutes and fixed the problem. They also did the rewiring for 2 wall plugs, so the wall plug worked independently for the switch.

It went well. They wired all appliances and kitchen lighting. They did a great job. They were not very fast at what they did and charge by the hour but they did great work that is all "by the book" for codes.
Description of Work: They had to rewire my kitchen remodel project. They added a new sub panel/breaker box and tied it all in to an existing panel. They also wired new under cabinet lights and changed out an over table light with dimmer switch. They hard wired an external blower for exhaust fan under house.
