Mortgage Investors Group - Parkside

I started off my mortgage search with Wells Fargo. I was given a quote and told that it would take approximately 30 days to complete the transaction. I had an accepted offer on a home and was ready to go. To make a very long story short, after having to give the same documents to them multiple times and after 45+ days of little contact, I decided to see if there was a better way to do it. A friend recommended a gentleman named Taylor Hays with Mortgage Investors Group at their Parkside branch. We had a great conversation where I found out he was a guest relations trainer for Disney World in his early career. It really showed in his work. I contacted him on a Tuesday morning and by that afternoon, I had received a preliminary worksheet, a copy of my credit report and a prequalification letter. Taylor's rates and closing costs were actually better than Wells and his customer service was beyond compare. I always felt like I was in the know as to the loan progress. Taylor was great at calling and emailing even if there was no activity just to let us know everything was being worked on. As icing on the cake, Taylor got my loan closed in 23 days. I would recommend Mortgage Investors Group and Taylor Hays to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
