We’ve been going to them for about 15 years. They’ve done a little bit of everything. Everything that they do is good. I’ve had brake work done and water pump replaced. The staff were “A.”

My brakes started smelling very hot when I drove the truck. Meineke determined that the caliper of one brake had locked. They replaced all damaged parts and fixed the brakes in about 4 - 41/2 hours. Staff was very friendly and pleasant, showed me the damage before they worked on it, explained everything, answered my questions, and fixed the brakes. The price was much higher than I had hoped, but the problem involved much more than I thought. I am very satisfied with the work and will use Meineke again.

Meineke is fabulous. They're just honest and decent people. Much to our surprise, the power steering pump broke. We had gotten it about a half of a mile and it just froze up. The people who put it in took responsibility for it but it wasn't their fault. A lot of their stuff we're getting from foreign countries. The quality is just not there. They went out, got another pump, and put it in. That one broke also. They went, got another pump, and put it in. That broke also. Finally, they went with the most expensive company that they could find for power steering pumps. All of this time, they're having to pay for this stuff. My husband told them to let us defray their costs. They wouldn't hear of it. They got the power steering pump from some company in Detroit. It actually worked. We were just very impressed with them. We've used them before on many different things. They are just fabulous. You would think $448 was a lot but that's something that normally costs around $600. The price was fantastic.

Both trips went very well. Work was done in a professional manner, on time, and at the quoted cost.

When we had our oil changed at Jiffy Lube back in July, the technicians there brought a problem with the rear differential to our attention. We took the car to Sal at Meineke, who repaired it within a day at the price mentioned above. However, this isn't the main reason for putting him on Angie's List today. What I'm really impressed with is what happened in September 2012. We noticed a funny sound in the engine and took the 2007 jeep to Sal at Meineke. He thought it was a problem with the transfer case and knew this would be very expensive to replace (around $2500). Sal told us that he wasn't absolutely certain that he was diagnosing the problem correctly. With our permission, he offered to drive our car to another nearby business that specialized in transmission problems. He said that he trusted the people at this business and would like to get another opinion before he made this costly repair. We agreed, and the other business was able to repair our car for about $1100. We were very grateful to Sal for his honesty and willingness to go out of his way to spare us such a costly repair. Even though he didn't get the job, Sal saw to it that we were given honest and capable service. Sal is reliable, conscientious, and trustworthy , and I want others to know about him!
