The diggers did not remove the bricks around the landscaping before digging. The estimator was excellent in analyzing what was needed and not trying to jack up the cost.

They did a very good job. I would use them again in the future for sure.

Called and set appointment for them to install my sump pump i purchased. After appointment already set i got another call and they told me they only install sump pumps which they manufacture and they cancelled my appointment. The sump pump i purchased had really good reviews. Any pump they manufacture would not have that many reviews. So, they are pushing their systems. Seems odd. Of course someone will respond to this post and say that they only trust and warranty their owns systems or some other garbage. Really stupid.

Work still to be completed due to personal logistics, but communication has been good.

1st estimate from another company was only to replace the wall. The$31,500 price tag blew us away. 2nd estimate from Master Dry was to shore up the wall and the $5,600 price tag made us feel we had saved $25k!! The 8 workers were professional, polite, very nice people to work with, and they were incredibly efficient, doing their job start to finish in 2.5 hrs. They cleaned up. The guarantee--in writing-- is that the wall will never give us trouble for as long as we own the house and for as long as a subsequent owner is in the house. VERY pleased with the entire experience with them and would highly recommend them and hire them again in a heartbeat.

The experience was very good, we made a determination to institute a change order to remove all of our moisture barrier on the original proposal and increase the number of smart jacks to increase the coverage. This was the best decision we could have made as it doubled our coverage and Dylan our sales rep was in full agreement that was a better solution. I dislike providing reviews unless my experience was stellar, but that undermines a major benefit of Angie's List. After I purchased the visit to diagnose the problem, the company did not contact me to to schedule an appointment nor did they respond to my first contact with them. After a week passed, I contacted them again and successfully scheduled a time. The company representative had ideas about the cause of the mold, but he was most interested in selling us a commercial dehumidifier for our craw space at a cost of $1,700. I repeatedly questioned him about the link between our mold in the garage and the crawlspace, but he was never able to explain how the dehumidifier was necessary. Indeed, he had missed seeing the grates in the crawlspace that vent outside the house. We would have been trying to dehumidify west Knoxville. When I showed him the vents, he still wanted to sell that dehumidifier. I wanted him to cut into the dry wall in order to verify that there was no mold problem inside the wall. He would not do that. Master Dry does not repair dry wall. I had a handyman replace the dry wall and verified that the mold problem was not more extensive.

Steve did an excellent job of identifying the problem and recommending the solution. Nick and Ben did an equally outstanding job of installing the requisite number of new SmartJacks and removing the old jacks. They then proceeded to adjust the new jacks and, in so doing, elevated the main floor that had been sagging in places. We're very pleased that the underpinnings of our house are now rock solid.

They are widely advertised on TV and elsewhere, I've seen them in the paper also. They simply wanted to overdo the job. They wanted 14,000 plus some dollars to do more than I wanted done. I didn't use them. They wanted to do a bunch of other things. It was 14,000 some dollars, which was way more than I wanted. They wanted to come inside the basement and put in a composite material that basically made it look pretty. I really didn't need that, what I needed was the pipes fixed. They wanted to do way more than I wanted done. They were fairly thorough. The guy who came out was really very thorough. He spent some time here, he really spent more time than he should have and I think he wanted the job. I live in a sort of an upscale community here and the houses all look nice and so forth. He wanted to land this job because this guy can pay big bucks and it wasn't the case. That was my take on it. I got the impression that they were fairly professional, but that was only an impression. Since they didn't do any work, you can't really tell that much from one visit by one person.

Travis Pruitt spent several hours evaluating our problems, boldly going where no one had dared go before. Not only was the crawl space of our newly purchased property full of junk and damp insulation, but the main support girder had come apart and twisted, and the house was in danger of caving in. Our work crew, Nick and Ben, arrived promptly as scheduled and worked well into the night, cleaning out the entire crawl space, and installing eleven smart jacks, and 6 mil polyethylene. They finished up the next morning by adjusting and fine tuning the jacks to give us a much more level floor, and a much more stable foundation. They were followed by the Master Dry electricians, who quickly installed a dedicated circuit for the crawl space dehumidifier.

Everything went perfect. Job foreman called ahead with arrival time,they were here at appointed time. Foreman introduced himself and the other four members of the crew, he explained how the project was going to be accomplished. Mission completed, we are 100% satisfied with the work, slabs are back to normal. Everyone had exceptional positive attitudes and appearances. would hire again. Outstanding job.

This entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The phone personnel were knowledgeable, prompt, and very courteous. A packet was provided before the consultation, complete with references locally, and a bio for the representative. Pete the salesman was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient with questions and explanations of solutions, and the process. Dave and his crew of Scott and Brandon were professional, and some truly hard working guys. This space was not easy to work in, and is now transformed into a place I'm no longer grossed out to go into. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company, and will use them again. It was worth every penny, and then some!

Representative completed a very thorough inspection of my basement floor water problem and recommended a sump pump and de-humidifier to resolve the problem. Master Dry installation team was very professional and went to great lengths to ensure that I, the customer was completely happy with the installation.

Installation went smoothly - they arrived on time, took as long (~half a day) as estimated, and did a great job both technically and aesthetically (aside from the PVC pipe on the side of the house, which isn't really their fault). Our radon levels in the basement dropped from well above the recommended limit to basically background numbers. I give them a 'B' on price because their estimate was 50% more than the second estimate we got. We asked, and they matched the lower number without complaint.

The company stayed in contact up to and during the task and was very punctual. The person that did the assessment was very knowledgeable and took pride in his task at hand, and the workers were just as knowledgeable and let us know if there were other concerns they noticed under the house that we would have not seen otherwise. The reason I gave the overall rating of "Good" as because we didn't have anything to compare their service to but we have no regrets. When they were finished there was moisture under the house and they said it would take about a week to clear, but if it did not, then we may need to consider another $1700 for an additional humidifier. After spending $10,000 that was a concern but as they stated, about 1 week later I went down and all moisture was gone. Very pleased with the outcome.

David Brûlée answered endless questions patiently and respectfully about the encapsulation system I needed for my crawl space and sold me only what I really needed. Because of my allergies to mold, he worked hard to expedite my install even though they were very busy. Nick and Benjamin worked hard and long without any breaks on the installation, but they were never too busy to answer all questions in a friendly and respectful way. It was amazing how they transformed my crawl space and when they were finished they hauled away everything and left no evidence they had been there except for a bright, clean, dry crawl space. Sarah called me to follow up on the work and see how everything went. I told her the work wasn?t finished yet. That the crawl door had to be changed/modified. I had failed to ask the right questions and did not realize the opening would be reduced and that the new door would require more strength and skill to handle than my old door. She told me Nick had included a note in my file and that they would come up with a solution. Josh, the Operations Manager told me Curtis would come and fix the door, but since he was on vacation and I would have to wait, I could withhold twice the price of the door until the work had been done to my satisfaction. Curtis came to build me a door. He was very cheerful, patient, respectful, and skilled. You could tell he enjoyed his job. He took the time to get all input on my concerns and what it would take to make the door easily accessible for me. He was there to make sure I was satisfied and was willing to listen to any ideas I had for a solution. He included me in every step of the process to be sure I was satisfied. When he was finished I not only had a door with easy access, but it also looked great! I'd also like to mention Denise. She?s always been so cheerful and efficient when I call. She always finds a way to help you herself and/or put you in contact with the right person to meet your needs. As I told Curtis: ?Your excellent work and willingness to do the job to my satisfaction and all the others at Master Dry who have done the same have made up for the shoddy work and poor service that I have had to put up with in the last few years.?
