We are truly sorry for any misunderstanding. However, we have no record of this member calling us for a quote. We are in the business to do business. We would never purposefully not call to schedule a quote. Our clients are our first priority. So it goes without saying we want and need all the business we can earn. It's very possible that this member like the another member from Oak Ridge may be calling another Magnolia Window & Door Company in Georgia, just north of Atlanta. We share the same name. They are a manufacturer. Some discount suppliers in East Tennessee sell their products to handyman companies and builders. However, we DO NOT sell their windows. We actually field many phones calls of people who have purchased their products and are very unhappy. They call us by mistake. And occasionally, we even receive negative reviews that do not belong to us. Again, just a coincidence we share the same name. As our many reviews show, we strive for an excellent customer experience every time.

Description of Work: The owner/president came to do the sales pitch. It was fine until he discovered lead based paint. Then it turned into him wanting us to buy windows from him and pay him separately, then pay his guys on the side to come in and do the job without following proper procedures for lead based paint. He criticized other companies stating that they won't leave any information about their warranties with customer, then turned right around and refused to leave his information for us. |Very, very, shady.

Not sure why the Members family chose to wait months after the completion of their project to list this negative post. We have a completion formed signed by the member that says "the job is complete and they are satisfied". This form was signed on Oct. 24, 2011. Since reading this post, I have made two attempts to contact the client. So far, I have not heard from them to determine their motivation for this type of posting months after their job was done. We strive to take 100% care of our clients. If you read several of the many posts we have on Angie's List, I believe you will see we have a proven track record of great service. There is more here than meets the eye with this post. We will do all we can to correct it. However, some things are done with a motivation that we can not overcome or is due to something we've done personally.
