Contractor did the requested repairs, plus some additional minor items he noticed. He was efficient and effective.

We had a roof leak, then about 1 year later we had a branch go right through our roof into our master bedroom closet. Both were addressed quickly and with great workmanship. We are currently having an estimate done for them to redo our entire roof. We have a very contemporary house with a commercial-style flat roof, so we're glad that Litespeed can handle this type of work.

Did a great roofing job, replacing an 18 year old leaking roof, at a very competitive price. We have a very large roof (140 squares or 14,000 square feet). The main part of the job was completed in two days. The follow up was great with 1.) additional nail pick up, 2.) reinstalling the gutter screens in the manner that should have been done 18 years ago and 3.) replacing the shingles where the satellite internet provider had to move the dish after the new roof was installed. Two additional comments: - I wish my builder would have used this company. - Now I can enjoy listening to the rain on my roof!

My project involved completely removing all decking and replacing the roof. Litespeed performed the work on schedule with a high level of quality and attention to detail. They picked up every chip of wood, nail, shingle, etc from the demo. Cleanliness of the jobsite overall was great. Kirby worked with my insurance company to make sure they had their calculations right and were covering everything they should. I am very appreciative of the effort he put in on the insurance. Definitely the extra mile and beyond. It took a couple of months after the job was done to receive the insurance settlement. Kirby was patient and understanding the whole time. Litespeed does great work, do what they say, and the price is right. Hard to beat that. I recommend them.

Prompt response to my phone calls and completed the work within the time frame we had agreed to. They honestly assessed the issues and made the repairs in a professional manner. And, the final charge was less than the estimate. This company will clean my gutters and downspouts as long as they are in business. And, when I need a new roof, I know who to call. I only wish this company did other repairs and renovations as I would hire them to remodel some of the rooms of my 20+ year old house. Simply the best contractor we have found since we moved to Tennessee 7 years ago.

Workers showed up and said roof too steep and would call back to figure out increased price to do work. Never received a call back. Contacted company after 2 weeks and they stated they could not fulfill service and that fine print stated that steep pitches were excluded from deal. Tried to get money back from Angie's List, but it had been over 30 days due to the delay from Litespeed in returning my calls. Therefore, I could not get my money back.

Upon Litespeed's inspection, it was decided that I needed all new gutters and downspouts. I agreed to the $4000+ job. It took 2-3 months to get the job done, after many tentative appointments. I do believe they did a good job. I was, as part of the deal, promised a free gutter cleaning at any point after the installation. I have asked for this service a number of times (since installation almost a year ago). It is particularly important to me, as many of my gutters are on the 3rd floor, and it is difficult to find anyone to do this. I cannot get a response from Litespeed, even after I reported a possible leak, on the 3rd floor, at the site of one of the seams. I am disappointed in the follow-up, or lack of. This is very important - service after the sale.

No one returns call. Messaged them 3 times and spoke to the receptionist twice. To get an estimate is such a hassle, ho difficult will they be if they get a job. I took my business to someone else.

He is somebody that I found on Angie's List. He did an excellent job. Very proficient, very awesome job!

Called to clean gutters, was quoted twice the advertised amount. The contractor did not show for scheduled appointment. When I followed up he said someone would be out the next business day. Around 6 PM on second scheduled day, I called to see if they were going to make it and they told me they were so busy they forgot and were headed my way right then. They showed at 8 PM, I pointed out a section of gutter that I knew had a drainage issue and that must have been the only section they cleaned. They were here for over an hour. But, spent most of their time up selling me on a roof replacement that they later quoted at $30K!!! Two days later I could visibly see vegetation growing from the gutter. Not sure they even looked at the entire gutter system.

Very difficult to get a hold of this provider. They do not return calls.

I contacted Litespeed based on the rating on Angie's List. I called on February 10, 2016 and we spoke for approximately 10 minutes discussing what I needed him to do. He stated he needed to come to the house for me to get an estimate, no big deal. We agreed on a time for him to come out the following week, February 15, 2016. The morning of the 15th we contacted each other so I know he did not forget. He just decided he did not want show despite the fact we had an appointment scheduled. I had other things that I needed to do but I cancelled my plans so I could be here for the appointment but he was a no call/no show.

The provider showed up half an hour late. He said there would be an extra charge if he bagged & removed any gutter debris that fell on the ground. I did not want to pay more than the $125 I was already paying so I declined this extra service charge. The man then climbed on the roof & used a leaf blower on the gutters. He blew the leaves but the gutters still had dirt in them & I asked if he would use a hose to clean them but he said no, he does not do that. He then blew the debris from the sidewalks into the yard.Twenty minutes after he arrived he was done & gone. For this, I paid $125. This service was disappointing as I compared it to the gutter cleaning I had six months earlier, using another company. The other company worked two hours, (3 men) and they washed & scrubbed the gutters clean, picked up all debris, and I paid $99.

Kirby Smith did a great job. He is polite and professional. He got the job done and cleaned up area. He showed up when he said he would, which is important. I would highly recommend to others in the future.

Easy transaction. Kirby responded quickly to quote request. Provided a fair quote when compared to 5-6 others.Agreed on shingle type/color. Materials dropped off. Couple days later dumpster dropped. Next day roof was replaced - all in one day. Couple days later dumpster gone. Great cleanup - just couple of nails left behind.

Great job. Great communication. The team did a great job and cleaned up well. As an absentee owner thousands of miles away its always nerve racking to engage a contractor you've never met and believe that their pride of workmanship and integrity will be such that they'll deliver a quality product without your being able to constantly watch overy them. I already knew from Angie's List (with a cross-reference of google) that Litespeed does quality work. Kirby Smith answered my message in less than an hour, and accommodated my schedule to find a time to see our problem the very next day. Even though I talked his ear off asking questions (I'm very ignorant of the world of roofing), he patiently gave me all sorts of information I needed to make the decisions, and did it all with a smile. He clearly had the experience to help me see what all my options were, and accepted my choice without a hint of disappointment or pressure. He gave us a verbal offer for the work we needed done, as well as some maintenance we didn't know we needed (the windows), and a special request I had (the flood lights). Mr. Smith and his companion were able to fit us in two days later! Even though the holidays are right around the corner, and winter is a tough time to fit roofing in (when it's not raining) and despite the fact that I overheard a conversation where he and his people were clearly busy from dawn to dusk for the next few days, they were able to find time to fit us in before another rainstorm could make our situation worse. They worked extremely efficiently, and even with my interruptions, still worked into the night and got it done in just a few hours! Since the work was done today, obviously I have no idea how well the roof work is going to do its job, but it certainly looks good from the outside and the way they both worked, I have reason to believe it could hold up at least as long as the rest of the roof. When the weather warms up, I am looking forward to contacting Mr. Smith and Litespeed again to take care of our other house problems.

I'm a disabled veteran and the last thing I can do is fix the roof. I called two roofing companies last week and they did not even show up. My wife told me to check out Angie's list and I'm glad I did, that is where I met Kirby and his company. We have a roof leak that has caused the sheet rock tape and a water stain at the peak of a vaulted ceiling with no attic space above. It is built under the back slope of the roof. I described the problem to Kirby, it was raining that day and I thought there was no way anyone would come out in the rain, however he did. It was a slight break in the weather, it was drizzling and he went up on the roof anyway. He did a thorough inspection, he found some exposed nails and sealed them as well as sealed around boots and flashing. Before he went up on the ladder I asked him if he could take down an antenna, and he said sure no problem. He was by himself and would have to come back later with help to do that project. I was having a rough day and I had to go lay down, he was on the roof for about 40 minutes, and my wife stayed in the living room waiting on him to come down the ladder. I heard him tell my wife when she asked how much does it cost, that he wants to make sure that that he fixed the problem, that he would be in touch, and call him if we noticed any difference. He said we would settle the bill when he came back to take the antenna down. He is a polite and very courteous young man, and I have no doubt that I will not be taken to the cleaners on this one. He stopped by the bedroom door on the way out and told me he hopes I get better soon, as I told him I am between surgeries right now. If you want an honest, dependable, reliable, and courteous roofer then Kirby is the man. He does what he says, and if you are disabled or elderly, there is no doubt in my mind that you do not have to watch him, and I feel safe leaving out valuables or sensitive items without having to worry about them. It would be nice if more businessmen were like him. Exceptional service, honesty, integrity, and just plain polite. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I will continue to do business with him in the future. If I had to give this a one star to five star rating with five being the best, I would give him six stars. I'm very satisfied, I'm glad I found Angie's list, which gives me access to reputable businesses from now on.
