+ -1 mored ofWe found Steve Lynch (Lakewood Construction) through word of mouth. We wanted our 40 year old kitchen redone without changing the footprint and he was excellent. He helped us decide styles, vendors....oh, everything. One thing that was important was the time we would be without a kitchen. He waited to start until the cabinets were here and between Thanksgiving and Christmas the job was done! Everything was ready to go, he was able to get other jobs out of the way and the granite shop was aware of the time crunch. It worked! Each day, they swept up so we could access the refrigerator (it remained on one wall). They worked consistently with only a lunch break. In all, we were very pleased. We now have the kitchen we dreamed of which will last us until we are too old to cook! Thank you, Steve, Ted and Bill!

+ 0 moreAfter giving Steve our basic desires. he drew up a design that we agreed upon. We asked Steve for his opinion on all our requested materials, etc... He always steered us away from some tacky ideas and boy are we glad. The finished bathroom is something we are very happy with. We will use Lakewood for our next remodeling project. You must be patient with Steve and his crew because they want to make sure everything is as close to perfect as possible. For example they subbed the drywall taping and finishing out and would not start painting until the sub came back and fixed some spots that my wife and I couldn't even see. A great bunch of guys.
Description of Work: Remodeled bathroom. Replaced toilet, tub, flooring , cabinets and repainted. Installed new Heat/air vent and exhaust fan. New lighting and outlets.

Description of Work: Remodel and Repairs List by Owner 1. Remove paneled wall covering between garage and living space, install flame-resistant drywall and metal door to provide proper barrier between living space and garage. (Had previously drywalled ceiling and reinsulated area.)2. Removing pendant lighting in two bathrooms.3. Installing new lighting in master bath.4. Removed 4 abandoned in-wall intercoms, patched drywall.5. Added under-cabinet lighting in Kitchen, removed light over sink and vallance, replaced light with two recessed lights.6. Replaced outlets with GFI's in kitchen and two baths.7. Repaired to ceiling wet spots and leaks to roof (earlier).8. Added shelving to downstairs laundry room, reversed entrance door to provide more floor space for storage in room.9. repalced several defective wall outlets in home.10. Installed 3 weatherproof outlets on deck and added dual fixture floodlight to deck area with interior control switch.11. installed sconce lights over two mirror/sinks in Master Bath. Previous Projects with them: 1. Closed in screen porch to create sun room with wood floors, large windows, exterior door with steps, lighting, outlets, thru-wall HVAC, insulation and exterior siding. 2. Constructed elevated deck across rear of house with handrails, accent lights and access dor from Den to deck, through existing window opening. 3. Converted closet in upstairs to a laundry for stacked washer/dryer, including plumbing, electrical, and flooring. Drywall work nad exchange on door style from paneled to louvered door. 4. Removed carpet and installed wood flooring to living room, new baseboard trip, ceilig trim and window trim, painted and detailed. Painted dinning room walls and detailing. Installed ceramic tile floor in guest bath. 5. Resonded to urgent and timely need to remove large mirror in guest bath, Extremely large mirror was glued to wall, removed same day as called, mirror removed fully intact, NO BREAKAGE! 6. Urgent call to repair flashing at roof and chimney where rain was leaking into den at ceiling and along adjacent wall.

Description of Work: They have done several projects for me in the past. They added a screened in porch to my home, built a carport, did a complete interior remodel of my home, remodeled a bathroom and installed all new windows.
