I placed a multi-item order to be fulfilled by Knoxville Wholesale Furniture back in November 2020 that was estimated to be delivered in mid-February. I understand that would take so long because of COVID-related delays. When I called to confirm that date was still accurate however, KWF pushed the date back to March 31, a full 4 months from my original order. When I emailed asking if there was anything they could do to help me get my furniture more quickly, I was ghosted for a week until I followed-up and was met with a dismissive, rude response. This whole situation has been absolutely ridiculous. KWF has terrible customer service and I won't be ordering from them or any company that uses them to fulfill it's orders ever again.

After over a month, the situation was finally resolved. The General Manager was polite, but the Manager of Customer Service was extremely rude and abrasive.
Description of Work: They were not very responsive at all. After 3 weeks of waiting, the wrong part was delivered and they were very slow in resolving the issue.

This is my post on their Facebook page today: I'm sure you will delete this post - your furniture store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! My husband and I happened to be driving by your clearance center yesterday and we decided to stop in and look again for a recliner that coordinated with our other furniture. After a 45 minute decision process, I was informed that once I paid for the chair (I had my truck with me) I was not allowed to take it with me because that was your "company policy". I called the manager of your main store on Parkside Drive and spoke to the manager and she condescendingly informed me that I was unreasonable and that a store of your size and importance could not be expected to allow customers to pick up furniture when they paid for it. I explained to her that while I understood that logic at your main store which is displaying pieces that are current and available to be ordered in multiple fabrics and also the fact that to remove an item from that store would impact your display - I don't understand the same policy at a clearance center where the items are on clearance for a reason and .. only a bare minimal effort has been made in any attempt to display the items. She was happy to inform me that I was obviously in the minority and that your store was far to important to worry about customer service. So... since we spent so long finding the chair my husband drove back over today to purchase the chair and was informed that - no he could not pick it up there, he had to drive to Callahan road to pick it up and, further, since he had a personal check, he could not pick it up since he could not be trusted to have written a good check. What is wrong with your company that you so thoroughly disregard customer service? If you are stung by bad checks - use a telecheck service. If you are going to inconvenience customer's by forcing them to make 3 trips to spend money at your store, hopefully this will be your last year in business. Believe me this is not going to be the last place you see this post! I own two businesses with well over 2,500 customers, as well as multiple Facebook pages, Angies List and anywhere else I can think of to spread the word about your complete disregard for your customers. Description of Work: The absolute worst customer service and unreasonable employees and management. With all the other options of furniture stores in Knoxville why any one would shop here is beyond me.

Ordered in Aug for a Dec delivery (New home construction) Went in on 12/11 to confirm everything & they didn't have in stock. We said we would take a different color chair that would be availible for our delivery. They called the day of delivery & only had one item on truck, so we told them to take it back. Thet talked us into going back to the old chairs which were miraculously now in stock. They delivered all 4 items to house on the 12/23, but the chairs were badly damaged, & they wouldn't put bar in basement, just dropped in garage. I have lost all confidence in this company & want it all returned, but they say they have a no return policy. Out the door & it's yours. I will never do business with this company again.

They have several locations. They have a great selection. They have a lot of different name brands to choose from. They are also willing to negotiate on price. They delivered and set everything up. I'm sure that there's cheaper furniture somewhere, but I had a good experience.
