The sidewalk/steps were the primary job that was completed, and this was done very well. They were able to re-level the sidewalk to fix the settling and poured new steps that are 6.5" high rather than the 10.5" that were there previusly. Overall, we were very pleased with this portion of the work. The second project was to cover some gaps in supporting concrete for a brick retaining wall to prevent water intrusion. I asked them to fill the openings with crushed stone and cap it with some concrete, which they did. However, they only worked on the areas that previous concrete had been removed - there are numerous areas with cracked concrete from the original build that I had wanted/expected them to remove and re-do also, but they did not do this. I can't really fault the company, I realize I was not clear in the request. However, I would have thought they would have questioned the appearance as they were working since we now have areas that are fresh concrete, and some that are old/cracked concrete-I wish they double-checked before the work was completed. Other notes-workers were professional and the work was done promptly. Overall, we are pleased with the sidewalk/steps, but somewhat disappointed with the retaining wall cap.
Description of Work: We hired Ken's Concrete to tear-out and replace part of our sidewalk that had settled, and to also tear-out and repour our front steps. Also, as a secondary project, they were to fill gaps in a retaining wall with crushed stone and pour concrete over the top to preven water intrusion.
