+ 4 moreThe finished work was beautiful and sturdy. That is why I kept having them come back time after time over the years. They did everything right, right down to cleaning up after themselves. Friendly and polite, efficient and punctual, Mr. Johnson always called if they couldn't come out. This review is long overdue and for that I apologize.
Description of Work: Over the past 5 years Mr. Johnson and his assistant Jeff have repaired my roof overhang, built a pump house, put in a new wheelchair-friendly shower, remodeled the bathroom, put in a wheelchair-friendly wooden walkway and bedroom exit door; as well as built a small addition to the house. Also, put in tile kitchen counters and a stove hood

+ 5 moreIt went well. Water flowed into our bathroom, bedroom and into our downstairs dining room. They reworked the plumbing in the bathroom. Repaired, replaced and repainted the sheet rock in our bedroom and the damaged floor. Repaired, re-insulated and replaced a six by eight section of our downstairs ceiling and replaced the various lights and electrical fixtures. Then resurfaced and repainted and re-textured the entire ceiling. Contractor matched paint colors perfectly and took care to protect from dust the areas unaffected. For us it was basically a turn key job and we were most pleased.
Description of Work: Repaired significant water damage resulting from a burst pipe in an upstairs bathroom.

+ -1 moreThe quote seemed reasonable and if I ever decide to do the work I will probably go with him. The addition was going to serve as a downstairs master bedroom/bath combination. He has done work for my friend and neighbor and she just raved about him. I really like the work he did for them. The work was really, really good.
Description of Work: I consulted Mr. Johnson about converting my living room into a bedroom, but it was just too small to do. He drew up a design to add on an addition to my home and quoted me a price.
