Provider returned initial phone call promptly and said he would call back to arrange for an estimate. I called back after two weeks. He said he was thinking of retiring and declined to provide an estimate.
Description of Work: I requested a quote for repairing limestone steps, pouring concrete, and correcting a drainage problem.

Mr. Reagon doesn't usually take on large jobs like ours, but he took it as a favor to us. His work began in some unseasonably cold weather but that didn't make any difference. He showed up on time and everyday. The cold made the work slow, but it was steady progress and although it took longer, he didn't add to his estimate. If there was a day he needed to do something else, he always let us know in advance. With his experience and knowledge, he was able to complete the job despite the miserable weather and it looks great! We live in a subdivision that requires additions to match the original structure. You really can't tell where the addition starts unless you get up really close and look for it. We were pleased enough to ask him to come back for another job. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing a small brick project or repair.
Description of Work: Did the brick for a two car garage addition and added two walls to hide our trash cans. Later we asked him back to enlarge three brick doorsteps for easier access.

He did everything that he promised and he showed up on time. He did the job and did exactly what I asked him to do. I had no issues and he did as advertised. I did not think that the price was too much. After he came and did the quote, I was expecting him to get back in a couple of weeks; it took a little bit longer than that because he was working on some other projects. When he did get back to me, it was a reasonable quote.
Description of Work: I used Jim Reagon Masonry fixed some bricks that had settled on my brick house. He fixed a crack for me.

Overall went well. The job was hard and Jim went over and above what I asked for so I paid him $500 vs the estimate of $350. That was very fair in my opinion based upon the excellent work he and his assistant performed, and his initiative to identify and repair the additional areas. Jim is an honest man and I wish all contractors were like him.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced old grout on several brick sections of my house. Matched the original color. The sections replaced had been replaced before by a handyman but that work was sloppy and the color didn't match. Jim and Jose fixed that problem for me.

Jim came out and surveyed the jobs as requested. He seemed very knowledgeable about brick, and interested in doing the job. He left and promised to get back with me about a quote and timeframe, and was never heard from again. Not very professional.
Description of Work: no services performed.

Mr. Reagon arrived when he said he would arrive, did what he said he would do, and charged what he said he would charge. We felt the price was very fair.
Description of Work: Mr. Reagon tore out and replaced the top of a crumbling cinder block support post under our home. The job required jacking up the house.

The work went very well. We are very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Jim constructed a brick mailbox and repaired a substantial "crack" in the front of our house. He completed both projects in a very professional manner.
