We have an old historic house that had just been refinished. Service Master even has a video of the condition before the move. After the move there were countless dents, marks on walls, damaged floors, etc. The floor company gave us a quote of $3500 to redo the floors. This company has been unwilling to work with us and same with Service Master. I got estimated from the companies who originally done each of the refinishing of our home prior to moving back in which totalled to about $10,000 and that doesn't include the cost of repacking, moving back out for 2 weeks, furniture repair, furniture storage, cost to live in alternate housing, painting, and ultimately to pack it up and move back in. This was the worst job you could imagine and never got better. This company happenned to "lose" many items incuding sentimental artwork, etc. A lot of the items weren't even valuable, just sentimental. The total of "lost" items was about $3500. I have been working with this company for 6 months and still no resolution.
Description of Work: This company was subcontracted by Service Master to move my stuff from a storage facility back to my house.

The price varies depending on how much their moving. Another thing that they do is that they charge by volume rather than by time. They charge according to the load of the truck. I had a half truck or something. Their billing stood out to me and the way they charge by volume rather than by a time. It was based on how much stuff I had rather than how long it took them to move it. It was fair responsibility and it didn’t matter how long it took them.
Description of Work: I used the services of Iorg Movers for moving about a year ago.
