Description of Work: They repaired a garden tiller that had been sitting around for a couple of years.

Description of Work: Reset valves on traction, installed used starter and charged for new one, charged for cleaning carb. But did not clean. |Got tractor home would not start getting it off trailer. Returned it for further repair. It was worked on and started, took it home and used it for 15 minutes. Again it would not start. I took it to another shop and it was repaired. |I would not send anybody to that shop to get anything repaired. My receipt was hand written on a plain sheet of paper and when I challenge them on prices they wanted to take my receipt give me a new one.

Description of Work: I had gotten myself into a jam trying to fix my zero turn walk behind myself. The Kawasaki motor would run for a few minutes and then die. At the recommendation of another repair/parts store, I spent $150 on swapping out coils and that did not fix the problem. I had also changed the oil, air, fuel and oil filters, fuel lines, and spark plugs. I also took the carb off to check for gum up and check the shut off solenoid which all looked good to me. | |All the work I had done was not improving it, so I found Hutton's here and saw that they will pick up the machine, which was great since I had no means of getting it any where. I called them and the person I initially spoke to was not interested in my relating the work I had done to the mower. | |The delivery person called before leaving to pick up the mower and showed up when he said he would. I was expecting that I would receive a call with an estimate of what needed to be done, but instead I received a call that same afternoon that saying that it was fixed and the bill was $350. | |The work was explained to me and it seemed to be an accurate assessment of the problem I had. He did insinuate that the problems were of my own making. I am mechanically inclined, but will concede that I may have done something to make it worse. One thing he said I set wrong was the coil air gap. I set this to the specification in the Kawasaki manual and double checked it several times. It may be possible that experience with these engines dictates a setting other than that recommended by the factory, but if so, I would like to understand why. | |The turn around time was fast and much better than other shops that were saying it would be three weeks to get it back. I would use them again, but would hope that they would understand that while I am no expert with these engines, I do have some mechanical skills and understanding.

Description of Work: Picked up my lawnmower for repair. Informed me of the cost and offered me an alternative.

Description of Work: We bought a couple of parts for our riding mower.

Description of Work: We had a Craftsman riding mower and a Toro push mower that were both not working. The rider needed a tune up, fuel filter and the blade sharpened and the Toro needed a tune up, blade sharpened and a flywheel. Both were repaired on time and at a very good price.

Description of Work: Repair the rear end gears in lawn mower

Description of Work: Huttons serviced my riding mower and did a wonderful job and what I like the most is that they pick up and deliver for an extra charge but is nice when you don't have a way to get the mower to them. They did the work the same day they picked it up.

Description of Work: Took mower in due to would not run for very long. I could get it to start, but then after a minute would quit. My husband took it in on a Friday morning and he had it ready by that evening. We picked it up on Saturday Morning. He even educated us on the cut off valve on the mower. It is now running smoothly and the blades have been sharpened.

Description of Work: They replaced the air filter, spark plug, fuel filters, oil filter, battery, changed the oil, flushed out the gas tank (it was full of drbris) and cleaned the screen. They also cleaned out old grass under the deck, sharpened the blades, and aired up the tires. They even washed and cleaned the whole mower!
