He took a loot of notes and a lot of measurements for the estimate. He asked how soon I needed it and I told him as soon as possible since I needed the estimate for the loan. He mentioned that he usually did estimates over the weekend and this was on a Monday. A week is fine with me, but a week came and went with no estimate and no word. He does not answer his phone and there is no email. I don't know why he bothered to come look at the house because he not only wasted MY time, but his too
Description of Work: Called this contractor out for an estimate from a good referral. Took a bit to get ahold of him and nail down a time but he finally came out to do an estimate.

Nathan Scott Home Pro, LLC 207 Cedar Street Loudon TN 37774 Complaint Description: Nathan Scott Home Pro, LLC Loudon Tn failed to perform the job/submit an estimate as he promised. Company refuses to return phone calls as promised. Nathan Scott with Home Pro LLC responded to a request for a remodel estimate. He came out to a residential address and performed a walk thru. We discussed future plans regarding the remodel. He made minimal notes but, did sound very interested in performing required work. An estimate was promised within a week. After several phone calls and emails Nathan Scott, Home Pro LLC has refused to follow thru with an estimate and has refused to answer his business line or return calls after messages were left. It is our opinion that this company may not be a legitimate business or, is an unprofessional business at best. It should be noted that this business is listed on Angies List as well. There is a review there on that site but after a close look appears to be a self constructed review possibly. This business is listed with BBB out of Loudon, Tn. We recommend that a more detailed review be made of this business by Angies List, BBB Knoxville area and, any future consumers/customers who need remodel work completed be cautious of Home Pro LLC without first checking their work ethic and business practices. Our Desired Resolution: We request Home Pro LLC and Nathan Scott contact in person BBB in the Knoxville Tn area and confirm his business practices and that BBB review the actual existence of this company. We request others who have had contact with this Company or its representatives to review it in writing good or bad.

Home Pro LLC is very selective on job and customer selection. We only take on jobs were the scope of work is clearly outlined and we can perform the task to meet our standards and the customers standards. I met with [member name removed] and his family and they were very nice and had an exciting project. [member name removed] promised detailed scope of work as well as project drawings.[member name removed] provide the scope of work and requested copy of Licenses, Ins, etc. These were provided to [member name removed]. However drawing were never provided and the scope of work could never be defined. [member name removed] wanted to do some work himself but would never clearly define his role or scope. [member name removed] wanted to hire sub contractors for certain portions of the job but this was never clearly defined. I am not able to properly quote a project with knowing what it involves. It leads to a poorly performed, disorganized project, and is not something I involve our company in. I am happy to help a customer determine the needs of the project but in this case [member name removed] had his project well in mind but was unwilling to convey to Home Pro. [member name removed] was notified by email that we were not interested in pursuing his project and why. The accusation that our company is not legitimate or have posted a self constructed review is baseless and untrue. Please see our attached licenses and insurance under documents. I also take exception with the statement that services were preformed. No work was done by Home Pro, simply a walk thru to determine our interest in provide a quote.
