Description of Work: They put Hardie Board on our chimney. No problems and a GREAT crew. The following year we hired them to install gutters and gutter helmet. Everything was terrible! They installed the wrong size. They corrected the size. They installed a gutter guard with no end caps. The gutter guard did not function in several areas because of the pitch of our roof. They removed the guard in those areas, but still charged us for them. I asked repeatedly about the missing end caps and the ability to keep out birds, squirrels, etc. they assured me the installation was correct. After a month with the gutter guard all the downspouts were clogged. We dug out several birds nests and a dead squirrel. Mr. Stone refused to address our concerns. I handmade made custom endcaps and riveted them on myself! Bill Stone, the owner closed Home Fixin' and opened Renewal By Andersen. Fair warning!

+ -1 moreFirst, it took more than five voice mail messages over the period of two weeks to get this company to return my call. When viewing the work that needed to be done in the crawlspace, Mr. Guzman accidentally turned-off our central heating system. We had to pay an HVAC technician $75.00 to turn the system back on. Mr. Guzman refused to reimburse us for the $75.00 charge. After viewing the molding work that needed to be done, Mr. Guzman said that he would send his finish carpenter to do the job. Instead, he sent a nice, but decrepit, 80-year old handyman who had no idea what he was doing. Needless to say, he was not allowed to do the work. We will NEVER use Home Fixin' again, and warn others about this less-than-reputable company.
Description of Work: We asked for help with replacing finishing trim on our hardwood floors and to eliminate squeaks in the flooring.
