Initially he showed us a recent job he had done of a similar nature which looked rather good. However, as my job progressed he seened less inclined to match that level of excellence. An installed door in the sunroom was out of plane on the right side a good 3/4 of an inch and he said "all you have to do is puch hard and it will close." I insisted that this was mot acceptable and payment would not be made for such work. The door was fixed. I should have mentioned that the first door he installed was not what we agreed upon. When we originally discussed such details I asked what the door would be like and he said "just like my front door" which is solid wood. What he installed was a full glass door. When I objected he gave me a hard time and he said that what he had said was "like the existing door from the kitchen". This was not true and he gave me a lot of grief about it and then complained bitterly he would have to eat the cost for another door. Later when it came to the finishing of the interior of the new room, I emphasized that I would not accept anything but a very good job on the taping and finishing of the drywall construction. I pointed out the work on the adjoining kitchen which was only done by the developer of the house eight years ago but was in fact done superbly as was the wood trim. He sarcastically replied that "maybe I should get them to finish the work instead". Finally, there was some trim work undone on the outside of the new addition, When I questioned him on this, he said he thought that it looked better that way. When I pointed out that the rest of the house had such trim and it looked strange without it, again he gave me a hard time where I found myself yelling at him and then he said I didn't have to yell. The yelling was the only thing that stopped him having the point of view that he knew best and the customer was not always right. Suffice it to say that his workers can do a decent job when given enough time and I liked them but he personally was characterized by rude remarks, sometimes on a personal level, and stubborn behavior.

Two men worked non-stop for three and half days. The busines owner was also on the site working one full day, and two half days as well. Other than a lunch break they worked steadily. We hardly knew they were here. At the end of each day, they cleaned the work area thorougly and returned all of their tools to their vehicel.

They were very responsive to the situation. Came out in a timely manner to estimate the job and provided us a quote within a couple of days. Once we signed the necessary paperwork materials were delivered a few days later and work began. The crew doing our roof to care to minimize as best they could any damage to plants/landscaping and were concenstious about cleaning things up. These guys worked some long hours to get the roof replaced and took care to make sure that nothing was left exposed overnight to any weather issues. The guys that came out to do the gutters did a great job. Their work, in my opinion was better than the original installation on the house. The same goes for the guys who did our siding work.

Home Concepts is a great company that does a lot of work for me. Their prices are fair and they are extremely competent.

They need to come back out again because it's starting to sink out. We had them back out for the other thing because they guarantee their work. They are supposed to get back to us on what they are going to do for us. We haven't heard from them yet. They did very good work at the time, but they are slow in responding. That's what we found with them not getting back with us. Their response is slower than what we would like, but this is Tennessee. If they say that they will be here on Tuesday we don't know which Tuesday they mean. They did good work. It didn't start to disintegrate again and they are supposed do something with it, but we haven't heard back. They did come out to take a look at it. They've got a very reputation in this village that we live in. Their reputation is very good and people use them all the time. This is one thing which is a kind of tricky situation. I don't blame it on them because they didn't put it in, but I blame it on the builder who we used when we had the house built. I'm not real happy with them right now because they haven't got back, but at the time of work they were fine. Their price is a little higher than most, but that goes with the reputation that they have and they get it. The estimate that we had them do was a little higher than everyone else. They were here when they said they were going to be here when they did this work. They are very professional. We are not using them for our porch. We did call them back to try to use them, but we didn't like their estimate. We would use them again if there was something that we needed them for.

They were 2 hours late, but were very efficient. I liked their services and will use the same in future.
