They were very professional and efficient. I was contacted very quickly after leaving my first message. Despite being very busy due to recent storm damage my job was done within the week.

The work was done very well with very little damage to our yard.

Took about 4 hours and was as promised during the free consult both in the quality of the work and the price. They reinstalled the fence panel when done. Trees measures between 1 and 3 feet thick at the base. Surrounded on 3 sides by privacy fence and house. They even haul away all the trees. Best of all their quote was much less for the work than other folks I called. You will not be disappointed:)

It went exceptionally well. They came and gave me a fairly priced estimate and scheduled the work for the following Monday. They arrived on time with everything to get the job done. They completely cleaned up my neighbors back yard and even planted grass where the equipment had driven. I was impressed with the professionalism and quality of work. Rep came out on 7/29/16 and I was told they could fit in my smallish project the following week. I haven't heard back from them. I figured my project would be simple enough but maybe they are only interested in larger jobs. Very unfortunate.

They were okay but the stump grinder wasn't so good and they left some wood that was bigger than I wanted them to. Anyway, they were pretty good. They were definitely giving a good price I thought compared to other people. They did a good job, it's just there were a couple of weird things that came up like giving me a quote on some other trees and they misidentified the trees. They were on time. They did everything they said they were going to do. I really appreciated that they got back with me so quick because I needed it done really fast so that's something about them that I really did appreciate.

It went well. We hoped they could get to us sooner but understood the delay because of weather and lots of trees being down at the time. I would recommend them to anyone needing tree service.

I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for $200 worth of labor for $99 a year ago, but health issues kept me from moving this project up on the list! John was terrific about saying he'd be ready when I was and for sure, he told the truth. Jeff( estimator) came out and rewrote the bid from the original one as I made a couple of deletions and an addition. He clearly marked the tree to be removed so there would be no mistake when the trimmers came and I might not be home. I did end up being home and watched in total amazement when they pulled up with two large trucks and three professionally dressed and groomed workers. They reviewed the plan with me before beginning. They very carefully removed all the yard ornaments under the trees to be trimmed as well as any nearby that might be damaged by a falling limb. They worked quickly and efficiently and left absolutely not a trace of limb or shredded limbs anywhere. I would welcome them again in a heartbeat. John and Jeff were terrific with staying in touch as well as keeping me informed. They came when promised.

Hancock Tree Services was able to complete the job by the end of the same week I contacted them, and was responsive to my requests. They were very professional, kind, and the end result was what was discussed when I was given an estimate. I definitely recommend their services.

I sent an e-mail to Jeff at Hancock the evening of 3/15 and he called early the next day. He came by that morning to provide an estimate and worked around my day with my goddaughter by leaving the estimate in my mailbox. His estimate was a very low $50.00 so I left a message that I wanted the work done. His crew came by the next day and did a wonderful job. The limb was cut and removed with no residue. I know that they worked me in around a large job that they were doing nearby. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff and his company. They were extremely prompt, very professional, and did excellent work. I will use them again whenever I need tree service. Do not hesitate to hire this company!

I received excellent service from Jeff and Hancock Tree Service. It was quick on getting the quote, super fast on getting the job done. Actually much quicker than anticipated. I would definitely recommend them and if I ever need tree service again I would definitely call them again. Great job!!!!!

They were very speedy with an estimate and then came out a few days later to remove the tree. They did a great job, took care not to damage a nearby fence, and cleaned up afterwards.

They were punctual. They did what they said they would do. They did in the manner that my husband asked them to. It was cost effective. They were polite.

We had become very concerned about the stability of the remaining 5 pines in our side yard, all of them 60-70 in height. They were planted back in the 1950's, and the biggest was definitely leaning toward my neighbors house. John came over and gave me an estimate to take down the one tree, and also a price on taking them all at the same time, which he recommended, as we would ultimately have to remove them down the line. The price was very good considering the location and scale of the trees. A full crew arrived with needed heavy equipment to expedite the job. Crew was congenial and very professional. The job took two days for the take down, and a third to remove. We were very impressed with the cutter up in the bucket truck, he handled the saw with both hands and knew exactly where to cut to avoid damage to either house. He was so expert at his job, that we stood outside to watch and then applaud!! It was a huge job. The crew left the work site clean, and no monies were paid out until every bit of the trees was removed.

Mr. Hancock did a drive-by estimate for us in April, so that we could start planning for how much we needed to save. We contacted him in late June to tell him we were ready to move forward with the project. He told us that, given the summer season and recent storms, they were backed up a few weeks, but he would put us on the list. Consistent with his representations, his crew began the project a few weeks later. Mr. Hancock contacted us 48 or 24 hours in advance of them arriving. The crew did a great job on a monster project. There were some very large limbs over the house that were removed without any damage. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the yard too. We had a couple of particular requests that they accommodated without objection, and when the project took a little longer than expected, the crew stayed until almost 8 p.m. on a Friday night to finish it. We were very pleased with both the price charged and the quality of the services rendered.

Called Hancock Tree Service office and John Hancock called me later that day/evening but I missed that call. My return call to John's cell the next eafternoon went to voicemail but John called me back shortly thereafter. Turns out he was out of town buying some additional equipment for his business - I recognized the area code from the call as close to my old hometown. I explained I needed the tree cut down soon due to putting my house on the market. John scheduled me for the next day as my job wasn't big and he had folks in the area finishing another job. He said he'd have a crew at my house the next morning and they showed up as promised. One man climbed the tree and cut the two forks and lowered them to ground by rope. The main trunk they just notched and cut. Very nice guys. They cut the large pieces into smaller ones so they could load them onto a large landscape dolly and haul to their trailer at the street. I didn't want to grind the stump, just cut it very close to ground level. They didn't get it quite as close as they discussed but they had problems with their large chainsaw. Stump is neat and flat on top, just a little too high. They cleaned up everything very well. I'm pleased with the rapid response to my initial call, the rapid scheduling, on time as promised, and safe work, and excellent cleanup..

It went well. No real problems. Did the work agreed to and cleaned up satisfactorily.

Mr. Hancock and his employees were very professional and made quick work of removing bushes and a small dogwood tree from my townhouse. They also cleaned up afterwards. I was very pleased with their work. He was fair with the price. I would highly recommend them for your bush and tree removal.

I asked Hancock to look at a very large sugar maple in my front yard. There were several dead limbs hung up in the tree, and 1 was hanging out touching a power line (my line, so KUB won't touch it). Some live branches are also encroaching on the power lines. They came out while I was at work and left a written estimate. When I came home, I saw they had pulled down the dead branch that was on the power line (it has to be 25-30 ft long) and placed it neatly on the grass. That really impressed me. Then I read the estimate. They recommended I top the tree at 25 ft or I could just leave it alone. I appreciated their honest assessment of my tree. Telling someone they don't need your services and still doing them a favor puts them at the top of my list. I'm sure I'll need tree work at some point, and now I know who to call.

They arrived on time. The owner came out to review what needed to be done. They wanted to cut the tree lower and were willing to work with me. They really made the trees look nice. He was willing to top the tree as high as he could go because of my preference on how the trees should look. The owner was very responsive and comes out quickly.
