The tech who came out to diagnose the issue was very professional and respectful. But beware, the pricing quoted by Hero to replace the eOne waste water pump was more than double what was quoted to me by another company. And it turns out the other company honored the eOne warranty so the repairs didn't cost me a dime. On top of that, the pump wasn't "shot" as the Hero tech stated; it just needed a new part. So I "saved" over $6000 by getting a second opinion. Their "one price" model seems designed to mask true material and labor costs. Be sure to get a second opinion and quote!

I chose to go with company based on their seemingly good reviews. I bought a home and didn’t like the kitchen pendant lights so I purchased a new set of lights and needed them swapped out. We also bought a hot tub to put where the previous owners had a hot tub- breaker box already existed I just needed them to wire it in, for those two services I was charged 2000$. As a new homeowner I assumed that was standard. I recently needed additional electrical work for a separate project, and decided to go with a different company. Out of curiosity I asked them to give a quote on hanging 2 pendant lights and wiring in a hot tub, they quoted me 300-400$. I was robbed in plain sight by hero services. Their prices are astronomical and very unrealistic for their electric services. Hoping to save another person from making the same mistake I did. Truly disappointing and wrong.

Terrible Company!! They took advantage of my not knowing enough about electrical and GOUGED me!!! Then no one would call me back and explain why!! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!

This company charged very high prices and did not fix my AC. Each time they came, they charged me. They came 5 times and total costs me $4,182.00 and my AC only works one day. I was regret to let this company to fix my AC. I was scammed! Be careful with this company!!!

High Pressure Sales Company!!!! These folks are charging WAY too much and pressuring you to do so! $69 service fee just to drive to your house. Fine I can handle that but... I was quoted $1500-$2000 for 1-2 electrical outlets without even looking at what was really going on. I said I would just pay the $69 service fee and get a second opinion. He reminded me the $69 dollars was just for them to drive to our house but he went and got a screw driver somewhat reluctantly to check an existing electrical box that had a cover plate. Took one screw off and checked the wires inside. They were hot. He said it wouldn't be $1500 but he would need to charge me a $411 diagnostic fee. I was like wow thinking all you have to do is figure out what breaker switch its on(mine are all marked). About that time I was handed a folder with membership fees and payment options. I was given a sales pitch on becoming a member. I told him again that I would just pay the $69 fee and get some other opinions. He assured me every company was going to have the same rates and that I wasn't going to find anyone that would give me another amount. I asked him what he thought it would cost if the electrical box had wires running to it that could be used or pulled through to help wire it. He said $800-$1000 but he needed to do a diagnostic to find out. I said Ill just pay the $69. He then asked what i would be willing to pay for the diagnostic fee. I knew then I needed to get this guy out! I said again Ill just pay the $69 and get another opinion. As I walked away to get him paid because I just wanted him out he stayed in the room and threw out a last ditch effort and said I can put an electrical plug in for $148 and well see what happens. I told him I didn't want to see what happens because that might mean my house burns down. He said it wouldn't burn down. I said Ill just pay the $69. He finally left. I called a local handy man and told him what happened. He said he would come by in a few hours and take a look. He had two electrical outlets installed in less than 20 minutes using the existing boxes. He said that everything had already been run and it just needed the electrical outlets installed. He said someone just never put the plugs or they took them out for some reason and put a cover plate over them. I gave him dinner and $100. Btw he was a 82nd Airborne veteran. Now thats how its done!

I needed some light fixtures changed so I called them. Their estimate was SO over the top insane that I had to find someone else to do the work. In addition to the fixtures they quoted me on, there was a line item to change two light bulbs in existing fixtures for $250! Yes, $125 per bulb just to screw in a standard LED light bulb. That is just beyond absurd. Even though I didn't have them do any work I still had to pay the $99 service fee just to have them come out and try to gouge me. I was well aware there would be a fee to come out, which I was fine with because I was fully planning to have them do the work had they given me a sane estimate. Luckily I was able to find someone else who did the work for fraction of the cost and didn't even charge me for the bulbs. They completely wasted my time, caused me to have to delay this repair, and cost me $99 for nothing. Do not use this company!!

Kevin from Hero Services was prompt and professional. He informed us of all electrical issues and gave a quote. He provided services at the same time as the service call. We were so happy to be able to use our refrigerator again! Thanks Kevin!

Bait and switch scam. Quoted $275 for a pump. Then wanted $200+ to "dig" a few inches of dirt off of one of the lids. Then wanted $200 because the liquid was "thick". The technician himself was professional and just doing his job as required by the company.

The guy came to give an estimate, was here for less than 10 minutes, didn't measure anything and gave an estimate of over 5,000.00. Then he demanded that I pay him $100.00 for the estimate. A charge for giving an estimate had never been mentioned, not in their ad nor when the appointment was scheduled. The job, which was later done by another licensed company, only took 4 and a half hours to complete with a much cheaper cost. Heroes is a huge ripoff!!

Stay away!!!! This company says they are “committed to excellence”, but instead have proven they have no integrity and do NOT honor their word. I am currently still serving in the military, and to echo another reviewer, this company is a disgrace to those who ever wore the uniform. I made an appointment more than a week in advance, to have a technician come out and provide a quote for plumbing services for my elderly father’s bathroom. After waiting for the duration of the agreed upon 2-hour window, I called and inquired as to why the technician did not arrive. I was informed the technician was on another project and might be able to come out tomorrow or next week. WHY THEN DID WE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!?!? The manager then went on to let me know in a round about way that my time was not important and that he and his technicians’ time was important. Find another company that cares not only about making money, but also cares about its customers.

Service was fast (same day as my call). Daniel and Ryan arrived as scheduled, were professional, and fixed my problem with a toilet back-up, partial component rebuild, a slow drain in the kitchen sink, and even addressed a wish-list item on the spot. They installed an additional water spigot (hose bib) on the southern end of the house. I like the name HERO Services as they were certainly my heroes today! I'm happy to support a business employing veterans. The pricing was reasonable and I am going to stay with them for future plumbing, electrical, or HVAC needs.

The men who showed up were nice. They did the work within 40 min. But left a small mess on the floor, and took a bulb from another working light fixture in my house to put in the the new bathroom fan fixture they bought and replaced. I was not notified of this unprofessional act. I came upon this myself after finding the small mess in my floor(debris from the ceiling as well as two large nails on the floor) after completion of the work and after the men had left my home. For $658, I should not have to clean or have to go out and buy new bulbs. The items that they bought from Lowe's were some of the cheapest products they offer. But everything works, as they should. I called the company and spoke to their manager the following day, he said he was sorry and that he would refund mt $25 for the light bulb, mostly out of inconvenience. I'm sorry, but for $658, I should have had top not work, no mess after completion of work, and at least had been able to pick out my own fixtures. I did not receive an itemized bill showing how much each product cost. Just how much it cost to replace to each fixture, so 2 quotes, or 2 prices. I should also not have to be calling and complaining about those issues the following day to their manager at $658. At that price I feel this company is highly lacking in professionalism and in quality of work performed. I will be honest on my behalf and say that they gave me that quoted price before starting ever agreeing to do the work and I agreed to it. However, I am a single female who knows nothing about the price of work to replace two light fixtures with the span of 40 min. I also live in Kingston, which the operator neve mentioned that I was the furthest out that they will go to do work on this side of Knoxville. The operator quoted me a $69 service fee(the fee that most every company charges to just come out and evaluate the job). I agreed to that, no problem. However the technician, once arrived in my home and after looking at the job told me that was an under quoted statement by the operator. That i should have been charged $ 90 or $ 99 for that service fee, due to my location. But that didn't matter due to the fact that I had already agreed to have the work done. Overall, very unprofessional, though nice about the whole ordeal. And extremely expensive for 40 min worth of supposed professional work.

I called Hero Service today and was able to get their electrical service techs to my house within 2 hours. The customer service team kept me up to date on when the techs were en route and their location. When the electrical techs Justin and Adrien arrived at my house I was very impressed their professionalism and great attitude. They easily diagnosed the problem and got it fixed quickly and professionally. Since it was a same day service I was expecting to pay quite a bit for the service, but the cost was actually under the national average for what needed to be done. Great company and great people. We will be using them again.

I'm a Veteran so I like to do business with Veteran-owned companies. This company is a disgrace to the uniform. I suddenly had no water in my house. After checking the breaker and the filter and seeing there was no pressure in the tank, I called Hero Services and the receptionist was very friendly. The sent a technician out the next day (for $99) and he told me that my pump went bad. He spent 15 minutes telling me the procedure to replace the pump, talked about the depths...and told me they would call me first thing the next morning with an estimate. No call was received so after 10am, I called them and spoke to the service manager, John who proceeded to tell me that they don't replace pumps, they call a subcontractor! NEVER was I told, either by the receptionist or the technician that they don't do this! The tech even explained how they would DO this. Of course they were happy to take my $99 and do absolutely NOTHING to earn it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, they should be ashamed of themselves and proudly stating they are Veteran-owned is just even more insulting. They have no Honor.

I had a good experience with this company. They installed two bathroom vanity lights. They came on time, completed the job efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. And, their office staff helpful completing a contract required by my building. I'll use them again.

Hero is a great company to work with. They know what they are doing and are friendly and gets the job done just as they promise. They are my go to for All electrical issues and installations for my 3 Knoxville businesses as well as my residence.

I contacted a few local companies for a small job in my apt. Chris was the only one able able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. I’m glad I decided to use Hero Electric! He’s a pro, answered all my questions, finished the job pretty quickly, cleaned up the mess, and even tested a few outlets at my request. Will definitely be using Hero Electric again!

Great experience all around with Hero Services. Scheduler was polite and responsive to setting the date. Electrician came right on time and had all issues addressed promptly with additional information on what the issues were. Highly recommended.

Installer is very attentive to customer needs and maintains periodic and relevant follow-up to ensure complete customer satisfaction. We have worked with other providers in the past, but these folks are our "go to" resource for all home entertainment and communication needs. You simply cannot go wrong with them on the job!

Chris from Hero Services was terrific! His team replaced all the switches and receptacles throughout my home, installed dimmer switches, and LED lighting in my kitchen and hallways. The results are amazing, and Chris was super easy to work with, friendly and accommodating. Will definitely call on him for future jobs. Highly recommended!!

Recently, I added some outdoor lighting (Wolfenbarger Ln) and found the outdoor power outlet wasn't functioning. I reached out to Hero Services and they were prompt and professional. We set up a time and the electrician (Adrian), called a few minutes early and showed up on time. He worked on the issues, found some additional sloppy work from an earlier Home owner and straightened everything up and made it safe, clean, and fully functional. While Adrian was there, I asked about adding some down lighting for my garage eves. Adrian offered great advice, went with me to Lowe's to choose the correct equipment, and then came back to start the second project. He set up the lighting, wired everything to a new outlet, set up a timer, and wouldn't leave until I felt everything was perfect. Later that night he texted to see if my wife liked the work. I added a picture to show the work added both security with better lighting, and enhanced the house at night. Hero Services and Adrian are professional, talented, and trustworthy. It felt like working with an electrician from the old days (no nonsense, great work). I highly recommend Hero Services! There is a reason they have 5 stars. Thanks Hero Services.
