The technicians arrived promptly. They were in geek squad uniforms, introduced themselves, put on shoe coverings before entering my home. They came fully equipped with all the materials and tools needed to accomplish the work. They were very polite, professional, answered all of my questions. They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaning up the area when they were finished. I was extremely pleased with the placement of the tv and all of the work they accomplished. I would definitely use their services again, as I plan to have them install a tv in the master bedroom. I will definitely recommend Geek Squad to my family, friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Provide wall mount and install on wall for flat screen tv. Tv was mounted on the wall, wires hidden in the wall, all cable tv, dvr, blue ray equipment reconnected, and remote control functions consolidated.

We made plans around the delivery date of the refrigerator (these plans affected what we had to do the day prior to the delivery, since we were out of town and had to return to be present for the delivery - otherwise we could have stayed longer, where we were sorting out business matters for an elderly family member). On the day of the 31st, after waiting several hours without hearing from Best Buy's delivery team, we called to see what the hold-up was. It took nearly an hour (of being placed off and on hold with several customer service representatives) to finally learn that the order had - for NO apparent reason - been cancelled on the 28th by some guy named Robert Bower. During the hour we spent being placed off and on hold repeatedly, we were ultimately told that they really didn't know why the order had been cancelled. While I was on hold, my husband checked our bank account, and while they did at least refund us the amount we'd paid for the refrigerator, that was it. No fridge, no reasons, just ... nothing. SO, in short, we took hours of time we will never get back buying and waiting for delivery of a fridge that was never going to come. No notice was given that delivery would not be made, no phone calls, no emails, no tweets, NOTHING. When we contacted Best Buy, they couldn't even explain their own ineptitude or failure to deliver the goods we'd paid for. Bad service at its zenith, just waiting for you at Best Buy. Do. Not. Go. There. EVER!
Description of Work: We went to Best Buy and paid for a Frigidaire refrigerator on May 24, 2014, using our debit card. The transaction went smoothly, and we set a delivery date for May 31,2014. We were told we'd be given a call on the morning of the 31st to set a two-hour window within which the refrigerator would be delivered. What the provider did was ZERO. They were useless. My dog could have done a better job - particularly when it came to customer service, of which there was none.

They did what they were supposed to do and got it installed. It didn't work so they brought me a new stove and replaced it at no extra cost. It did take 2 weeks both times so I was a little disappointed with the length of time.

IWe have used geek squad before, and have obviously shop there for computers on a few occassions. The on site install agents are very knowledge, friendly and professional. THE MISSION CONTROL REPS AND COMPUTER SALES PEOPLE AND THE TURKEY CREEK LOCATION ARE NOT. COMPLETE MORONS. WE RUN A SMALL BUSINESS AND BOTH TIMES WE NEEDED THE COMPUTERS HARD WIRED BEFORE THE SOFTWARE INSTALL! MISSION CONTROL GOT IT WRONG!!!!! DESPITE THE FACT THAT THIS WAS EXPLAINED TO THEM OVER AND OVER AT THE TIME OF REQUEST BOTH TIMES!!!!!!!!! WE HAD TO HAVE OUR ACCOUNT CREDITED BOTH TIMES. AND MAN THEY DONT MAKE THAT EASY! THEY SCREW UP AND WE HAVE TO WASTE HOURS WAITING ON HOLD FOR THEM TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES!!!!!! UNREAL!!!!!!

Good experience from start to finish. The person I spoke to when I scheduled the service was professional and knowledgeable. An appt time was offered for the next day, but I chose to schedule a week out. I was told that our geek would arrive on the day of service between 8 a.m. and 12 noon, and that he would call first. At 8:15 a.m. we received a call from our geek. He revewied with my husband the services we needed and informed us that he would arrive in about 2 hours. An hour-and-a-half later, he arrived after calling us to let us know he was on the way. He introduced himself as Bill and told us we were welcome to watch him and ask questions while he worked. Bill was very personable and explained things as he went along. He was at our house for 3 hours and resolved all of our issues. Geek Squad does not charge by the hour, but rather by services rendered. They charge $129.00 for the house call and diagnostics; $39.99 for a tune-up on the desktop; $24.99 for network security; $149.99 for Microsoft Office. We are very satisfied with the service and will gladly use them again, if need be.

I bought a digital camera Canon S5IS for my wife. I later found the camera online at the same store cheaper. I went back with my receipt and they paid me the difference plus 10%! It doesn't get any better than that. I have had issues with Best Buy in the past, but this may have made up for them.

He was very competent and professional. It didn t take him long to fix the problem and I think these guys are the best. They re very well trained and they did a good job on my computer. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: The computer technician installed a video card in my Sony computer because the other one went bad. He also checked it out for viruses, which it didn t have any. My computer was under warranty so I didn't have to pay anything.

It was nice to have someone who was knowledgeable to come in and fix the problem. He was nice and polite. He called before coming out and showed up on time. I was happy with the price and I would want them to come out again ,if I needed a service again. He did a good job.

The tech did a real good job fixing my computer. We did take it back and he fixed it and didn t even charge us for it. The customer service was friendly and we didn t have to wait very long at all.
