I had used this company for several years - since it began really. They were dependable and did a good job initially. I usually would call Bruce in the Spring to set up the mowing schedule. The last couple of years, he just started mowing without discussing this with me - he would just show up in the Spring on his own. I found this a little presumptuous as I might not want to use him again or maybe would not want to start the mowing as early as he started because the lawn had not grown tall enough yet. I had a log structure that was in my garden - away from the lawn itself - that was spotlighted and had been there for many years while they tended the lawn. After about 6 years, one day I noted that they took the log structure away and to the dump. They were not told to do this and just took it upon themselves to remove it. I called Bruce and told him what had happened. He told me that I had told them to clear the brush and twigs from that area. This was absolutely not true. I would not tell them to have anything to do with the garden area. He stated that he would replace it which, after two years he did not do. I sent him a letter to remind him and he assured me that he did not forget, but a year later I still did not have anything to replace this item. I always had Bruce remove leaves from the yard every year and he charged about 100- 125 for this. Last November, I had some landscaping done by another company. Bruce removed the leaves as usual but charged 225.00 for this job. Now, realize that the yard with leaves has decreased as the landscaped area did not need to have leaves removed, I had already raked the yard once myself. So, there were less leaves and less yard to remove the remaining leaves from. In other words, it was a much smaller job than the earlier years. I asked him why the big price hike and he stated that it was a normal increase. I felt that he was angry that I used another company for the landscaping instead of him. I addressed that the log garden structure was never replaced and sent him a check for 200.00, noting that the 25.00 would go toward the log structure that he never replaced after telling me over and over that he would. I did not hear from him again and he did not resume mowing the lawn the next spring without contacting me. I was just as glad as I found another lawn care company that I like better anyway and really did not want to continue working with him any longer after this price gauging and lack of responsibility.

Very smooth and professional work, on-time and on-budget. Johnny and Dan once more did the work as we needed it to be done, cheerfully and accurately. We will hire this crew again.

We are extremely pleased to have found Four Clover Lawn Service. Bruce is our contact at 865-356-1268. He gets back to you very quickly if you have a question or he calls if his crew will be late or if it's been raining and they have to put off mowing for another day. His workers are very professional, polite and attentive to direction, and do the job quickly and thoroughly. Our lawn looks great after they have been here! They remember directions, are prompt, edge and blow appropriately and speak English. I would never change companies unless management changed and the work product fell off considerably.

Contacted company via phone call between 8:30-9:00 am on Thursday 8/30/2015. Left brief message and contact number. Friday morning more than 24 hours later I still had not received a response. Used their website to contact through email and wrote them about the services I wanted. Since their website and Angie's List says they are open on weekends I waited until Sunday and there is still no messages via phone or email. Apparently this company lacks character and integrity.

After some issues with the last grass company we hired, it has been a pleasure to work with Bruce & 4clover. With the drought already in effect this summer, one call to ask him to skip a week was all it took. No questions asked, no showing up & billing me for it later. The guys that come out are always professional & do a Great job. The quote was on par with other quotes we received of $35 for approx .25 acre lot. We also had them prune back an over-grown Crepe Myrtle earlier this spring & I believe the charge was about $30 for that as well.

They come out every month. It is a yearly contract to do all the feeding, aeration, lawn work like mowing, trimming and maintaining all those flower beds and treating the lawn. I would have like the price a little bit lower but their work is very good.

They didn't really do it. The first guy was just a kid, and they dropped him off, and he pulled a weed here and there, and the next day, the guy who runs the place came with a couple of other guys. He said that there was still much left, and said they would finish it, and then left. He then changed his price,and I just raked it up to experience. The price was a lot different from what he said it would be. It was almost $400 for just a few hours for what anybody did. There were dead spots in the bushes, and they were supposed to be cleaned out, and the weeds grew back.

We really love them. Very efficient and cost effective. Very, very reliable.

I haves used a few different companies in the past but was never really happy. After hiring Four Clover we finally found what we were looking for. My yard looks great every week. They having been doing our yard for a year and a half. Our shrubs get cut 4 times a year and am very happy with the job they do on them. Truly my yard stands out in my neighborhood. We had them do landscaping in the back yard and it turned out great. Bruce really works with you and gave us great plants out back. Couldn't be happier with their work!

We found Four Clover through Angie's List and have been very satisfied with their work. Our previous lawn mower didn't do a good job, complained, and scammed us. When we contacted Four Clover, Bruce got right back to us and made an appointment to come out to our place and give us an estimate. A crew of three workers with James as the boss arrived on the appointed date and time. My husband showed him all around the property and pointed out things to do or not to do. James and his crew have done a wonderful job quickly and with no more direction, even cris-crossing the lawn so as not to leave any little tufts and their mowing leaves a very good-looking pattern. Four Clover also offers landscaping, stone design, aeration & over-seeding, shrub trimming, mulching, and leaf removal. His prices are very competitive.

I like that they gave straight and direct answers, their promptness, and the detail of their work. The first time that the 3 of them came out, I told the lead gentleman what I wanted and he stopped what he was doing and immediately passed it on to the other 2 with him. They didn't have to have any additional guidance, but they do exactly what I want every time.

We could not be more pleased with our new lawn service provider. Our lawns look fantastic! We had weed patches for lawns before they took over and now have beautiful lush lawns. I can't say enough good things about them. Four Clover gives you a schedule before the season starts and they stick to it. They show up on time each week without fail and are usually in and out of our subdivision in 2-3 hours. All of the employees are congenial and pleasant. If there is something that we need to tweak in the service a simple phone call or text will remedy the situation. If you leave a message for Bruce he will get back to you within minutes. The care and consideration they give is fantastic, we are happy to recommend Four Clover Lawn Service for any lawn care needs.

We called Four Clover for an estimate on some landscaping we wanted done on Thursday, April 10. Bruce called on Friday, April 11 to set up a time to meet. When we couldn't meet him during the day, he said he would call back the next week to setup an evening. He did call on Monday, April 14 and his partner came out on Wednesday, April 16 to look at what we wanted and indicated they would have a quote to us within a couple of days. That was the last time we heard from them - today is Tuesday, April 29 and we still have not heard from them.

Bruce and Daniel and their crew did a fine job in all regards. We are very pleased with the workmanship. They are not afraid to do the work correctly. All Four Clover employees were helpful, cheerful and gentlemen.

They did an excellent job and I appreciate their reliability. I paid $40 for each mowing. It took awhile to get them to blow leaves, clean gutters and remove the debris, but they did a good job on that as well. I recommend them and will utilize their services again this year.

Bruce and the four clover lawn team were awesome! I've used so many lawn care services that provide mediocre or poor service, it was refreshing to have a team that came in and finished the job in a few hours instead of a few days. I needed a hardscape path finished by installing pea gravel and edging, then mulching on one side of the path and laying sod down to pull the edge of the path closer to the hardscape. I also had bare earth along the edge of my entire back yard (due to a different lawn care company's overenthusiastic grass trimming). In addition, I had about a 12ft x 15 ft section of very thin grass under a tree which was shading the grass too much. Bruce and his team put down compost and sod in all these areas, edged and installed the pea gravel to finish up the hardscape path, and installed mulch. Everything looks great! I've gone through roughly 15-20 lawn care companies over the last several years, for various projects, and Four Clover is now at the top of my short list for any future work. Thanks!

I usually wait at least six months before posting a service review to ensure that quality, pricing, and responsiveness are consistent. Bruce and his crew truly deserve praise for their hard work, quick response times, reasonable prices, and quality work. We hired Bruce after years of frustration with a company that repeatedly had to be nagged to complete work at the scheduled time and perform additional services, such as bed maintenance, that seem like they should be an integral part of a lawn service. As you know, there is no shortage of companies to choose from. Finding quality work at a reasonable price, now that is another story! Four Clover Lawn Service certainly delivers. Whether Bruce is dealing with our weekly mowing or our numerous special requests, he shows integrity and competency. Thank you, Bruce, for all you do!
