+ -1 moreAfter stripping out the heads on 2 of the 4 tiny screws on the (plastic) back of my Atomic Watch, I took it to Fountain City Jewelers, based on all the good reviews for them on Angie's List. I browsed the display cases (including the estate jewelry) while I waited, and the lady in the back (I didn't meet her in person) managed to get those screws out & replaced the battery for me. On hindsight, I SHOULD have asked for 2 NEW screws, so that I could remove the cover MYSELF at a later date. (My mistake.) Jerry was very friendly and made me feel like an "important" customer. The entire visit took 12 or 13 minutes and I paid $10 total for the labor and a new battery. Oh, one negative thing: I was NOT given, nor offered, a receipt for the job performed! If this had been something more important or expensive, I'd have asked for one, though. Overall, well worth the drive from Morgan County.

+ 2 moreThey are always professional, respectful, reasonable and punctual. My fiance told me they resized the ring she last bought me in 24 hours knowing we were going away and it would be given as a gift while gone. Jerry is great.
Description of Work: My fiance has purchased another ring from them for me since I lost the first one she had purchased from them. She routinely goes to them ever since the first time she had need of getting a ring cut off her own finger over 3 years ago. She returned 3 months later to have my expensive Eco Citizens watch repaired. Then this past year she trusted and respected them so much she purchased a ruby\diamond and gold ring from them. They were very reasonable with the price. As I stated above, she returned to replace the list ring with another. I will be returning in a weekl to them to have a recently purchased ring while away on vacation that proposed to her with and have repaired as the workmanship is nothing like Fountain City does!

+ -1 moreI'm sticking with them. As I recall, I told you it was only the repair service that I used. NO jewelry was purchased. His estimate was valid. His price remained the same when picked it 3 or 4 weeks later. I believe he mailed the watch for off premisis for the service.He did a good job of determing the problem, and knew he could not repair in his shop.

Description of Work: I used Fountain City Jewelers to put a new crystal on my watch and they replaced a couple of pins. I was there on two different occasions. They also took the time to polish out some blemishes on the watch.
