Family Roofing Inc

June 8, 2012 I signed a contract with Family Roofing, Inc. to remove and replace 42 sheets of OSB decking, 15 squares of shingles, ridge vent, gutter and downspouts on my 985 square foot home. In September 2013 I was made aware that Family Roofing, Inc. had not replaced rotted roof decking, only roofing tiles, the replaced gutters were too small and no flashing (drip strip) had been installed. This contract provided for a 10 year transferrable warranty on workmanship and a lifetime manufacturers warranty on materials. I contacted the owner who agreed to meet with me on October 2, 2013. After meeting with me he stated he would have someone come the following week to make arrangements to rectify this situation. I received a voicemail from someone with Family Roofing stating "Ah, yes. This is Family Roofing. I have a note on my desk to let you know that someone will be out there next week to take a look at the problem." I heard nothing from them, even after, on October 15, I sent them an email and called them My husband then contacted the owner who agreed to meet him at the house on November 7, 2013. At the end of this meeting the owner stated he was busy the following week, but he would bring someone the next week to 'get in the attic and make a list of materials needed.' We have not heard from anyone with the company and have been unable to reach the owner despite numerous attempts. (pictures available)
