Mark came and gave an estimate and start date. They arrived when they said and did an outstanding job. He also charged less than his original quote.

The Job was not completed as implied. Mark came and gave my mother an estimate on re-staining and sealing her pool decking, assuring her that he could remove the current stain while re-staining and sealing the concrete. They arrived pressure washing the pool deck and then applying sealer to the pool decking. When asked why they are sealing the concrete without stripping the stain Mark again assured my mother that there was color in the sealer and it would cover the current stain. After speaking with Mark the next day he mentioned that the only way to get the color correct was to remove all of the concrete and pour brand new concrete. Based on this comment it is my conclusion that he knew that this treatment would not work. He decided to falsely claim that he had the ability to get the job done correctly in order to have the business instead of being honest and letting the customer know that he could not in fact do what was needed. I would highly recommend using someone else for any needs you may have.

We asked numerous times for a contract but were told that it depends on the amount of concrete poured, which made sense and we estimated about 400 sq ft and Encrete agreed. We picked the pattern and color and were given a rough estimate of less than $3000, total. The day of the pour they showed with a blank contract promising that it would not cost more than a total of $3000. The pour was a MESS. There was no concern for what got in the pool. We spent 8 hours over 2 days trying to clean chucks of concrete out of the pool. The small concrete that got thru the filter has caused us to buy another filter. When we told the pool installer of the mess he responded that he has made comment to Encrete before. After completion of the pour, we noticed that the pattern we selected was not done however, we were "ok" and decided to make mention that the pattern they did use was less extensive than what we selected and expected that we would clearly pay less than $3000. After the forms were removed, and sealer was completed, Mr. Sanderson presented us with a bill for $3395. This bill did not provide how much concrete was poured or what colors were used. We recognize that the difference isn't much however, it is clear that Mr. Sanderson mislead us on the cost estimate and we were duped. He quoted no more than $3000, which included a pour pump and then charged extra for the pour pump (which on the contract was changed from $295 to $395). I am not sure if the actual work will withstand the test of time but we will not use them again.
Description of Work: Encrete is the company our pool installer subcontracts with for the concrete decking. We tried to find others that can do the deck around a fiberglass pool but all others needed the "forms" for a fiberglass pool. We were of the understanding that only Encrete does the forms but after all was said and done, the pool installer put the forms on and we could have used another concrete company. This was clearly a group of people that have worked hand in hand on many occasions and they make sure you use their recommended subs.

Mark Sanderson (Encrete Southeast) came promptly to give us an estimate for pouring a new concrete deck and sidewalk. His website showed many textures and patterns to choose from and we selected a pattern and color from the palette. I marked an outline for the pour and they came and staked the pattern and scraped off the grass where the sidewalk was to be poured. While marking they cut the electric supply to the pool area lights. The day of the pour he calls and announces that they cannot do the pattern I selected and had me pick another. The alternate pattern looked like a big slab of concrete, not stones. The pour was disappointing from the start -- he chose white, square pool skimmer covers even though we had neutral, round covers before and new concrete was to be brown and the edging was sloppy and not smooth. Neither skimmer is square to pool edge, and they don't match. The lip of the pool deck was attached directly to existing tile and had to be removed when tiler came thus creating holes and chunks. Cracking started immediately with a complete break less than 3 weeks after pour. There are at least 10 edge to pool cracks now only 4 months out. After pool installers were finished and tile was replaced, one of Encrete's employees came back to "fix" pool lip and dripped concrete stain all over new tile! The pool lip was gapped, missing, broken, and uneven. Once he was paid he quit returning my calls and actually asked my pool installer to meet him to pick up his materials and fix his pool deck mistakes. On the MORNING of our summer barbecue he finally shows up with chemicals to remove the stain from the tile and left chemical skim on top of water and a terrible smell. He guaranteed this pool deck against any cracks or problems and now says that cracks are to be expected and he's just going to fill them with sealer. We'll see if that actually happens, and if he ever fixes electricity to the pool. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED. I really had a good vibe from him but I think this job was just out of his element.
Description of Work: I asked for a pool deck and sidewalk to complement our pool upgrades and fixes.

This company has done a lot of the work for me in my back yard and I am very pleased with their service. They always do an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I thought that the workers were always friendly, on time, and they did quality work at a price that was affordable.
Description of Work: I had some of the back yard remodeled and finished up and we needed some colored stamped concrete to be poured for the pool deck. This company did the work and the area was about a 60x120 square foot area.
