DUNCAN'S LANDSCAPE SUPPLY

Description of Work: We undertook a much-needed yard renovation in the summer of 2012. We had worked with Mr. Duncan for years, as he reliably delivers good quality mulch at a reasonable price, on quick notice. He also delivers fire wood, and you see his trucks all over town. He has been in the business forever and has a great eye. While our project cost about 15% more than I was hoping, the results were amazing. I wish I had taken "before" pictures, because "after" just looks like grass growing - exactly! Before, no grass, just overgrown shrubs and strange beds everywhere requiring mountains of mulch to maintain. Now, green grass everywhere, reasonable beds, all the old stuff removed and hauled away. Grading was imperfect, but I should have gotten more involved. Dr. Duncan's employees work really hard every day. He does not tolerate messing around. Always came when they said they would, and came back to discuss any modifications I requested. (We didn't really set out with a detailed plan, just "more grass" and stacked stone around the trees etc. We put in tons (literally-something like 15 tons) of rock. The combination of more grass and the rock borders have stopped the erosion problems we were having and made our yard the gathering place for neighborhood boys (including our own) who love to climb trees and run through the soft green grass. We are looking forward to having Mr. Duncan help us this summer with a much smaller project of landscaping our pool area (currently "mudscaped"). I highly recommend Mr. Duncan, his family, and his whole crew. Excellent folks who do excellent work.
