Jaymee Housefield was referred by and highly recommended by Jenkins Brick and Tile -Jaymee Housefiled conducts business on a regular basis at the Jenkins Brick and Tile store - tile and other materials suitable for the project were purchased as Jenkins Brick and Tile -Jaymee Housefield and two employees arrived in December to install the tile in the master bath -prior to Jaymee Housefield a licensed contractor had installed the wall framing and a licensed plumber has installed the rough in of the water supply lines and shower valves -everything was in good working order prior to the arrival of Jaymee Housefield and his crew -after the installation of the tile in the master shower the levers, knobs, shower heads, etc could not be installed by the licensed plumber so the shower stall was made unusalbe by Jaymee Housefield and his two employees - at additional expense ($600) the general contractor was able to correct the framing and connect the plumbing so the shower could be used - the slope for the linear drain is improperly installed and allows water to escape the shower and run behind the baseboard and onto the subfloor causing a rotted if not repaired - redundant sensors installed under the tile are improperly installed - the electrician does not have enough length to attach the leads to the thermostat - redundant sensors are now completely useless due to Jaymee Housefields' installation - additional expense will be incurred to correct the drainage problem an, the sensors that cannot be connected
Description of Work: -professional services were performed without a valid and inforce professional license -two employees were brought into the owners home incurring liabilty exposure for employees of unlicensed contractor -plumbing supply lines and valves in the master bath shower were installed by a licensed plumber and were all in good working order prior to installation of tile by Jaymee Housefield and his employees - after the installation of the tile by Jaymee Housefield and his two employees the licensed plumber was scheduled to install the "trim out" of levers, knobs, shower heads, etc. - the licensed plumber was unable to install the levers, knobs, showerheads, etc. due to the improper installation of the tile - after the installation of the tile the shower stall was not usable and will require extensive addtional work to make it usable -Jaymee Housefield will not take any responsiblity for his work or his two employees who were supervised constantly by Jaymee Housefield - Jaymee Housefield has refused to deal with this issue prior to the installation of the tile, during the installation of the tile or after the installation of the tile - the general contractor was able to attach the plumbing so the shower could be used - additional cost was $600 - the slope for linear drain is improperly installed and will require the hiring of a tile installer to correct - additional cost will be incurred when and if I can find someone to do a small job - the improper slope means that water from the shower goes out of the shower into the bath area and behind the baseboard soaking the subfloor which will eventually cause that to rot out
