April 19th, we called DC Services because we never received a call as to scheduling the installation. My husband called twice and then an employee called back and advised we must first pay for installation prior to scheduling and forwarded an invoice via Paypal. She then advised that once we paid, to call them to schedule. We paid the invoice using paypal even though we paid the manufacture directly for the installation so that we can quickly schedule. We then left 2 messages and an e-mail for the DC Services Rep to contact us to schedule installation and didn?t get a call back. On Saturday the 20th we called DC Services and they advised they will contact an installer for scheduling. On Monday the 22nd we were still waiting the scheduling and needed to call twice for an update. On Tuesday Morning (April 23rd) received a call from Raul advising that he was scheduled to be on site Friday the 26th at 8:00 AM and installation should be done on that day and if not, he would come Saturday the 27th to complete. On Friday, April 26th We called Raul at 9:30 since he never arrived and left a Voicemail. Afterwards we called DC Services and spoke to a DC Services Rep. She advised that the installers shouldn?t have given a time rather a 4 hour window however she was going to look into it. AT 10:45 we received a call back from DC services advising that the installer isn?t coming and they?re going to schedule using another installer and will call us back with an installation day. We advised we weren?t happy and discontent with the service as we?ve taken time off from work for this install and never received a call advising that no one would be onsite. We followed up that day with several calls as to getting an installer. Sunday April 28th , a DC Services Rep contacted us advising that she has scheduled another installer for Wednesday May 1st We confirmed with the installer that he was coming Wednesday at 7:00 AM. On Wednesday at approx 10:00 I contact DC Services to advise the installation team was not yet on site and left a message on their system?There was no response to my message) Apprx 10:45, the installers arrive and after a small timeframe the supervisor advises that he is leaving and leaves 2 installers at the site to work on the project. He further advised they were going to try and finish that day however if needed, they?d come back on Thursday to finish. At around 3:00 I contacted DC Services because when I looked at the playset, only the base and 4 posts were erected and I was concerned they weren?t sure of the installation or having parts issues. The Rep advised she would call the installer and inquire. She called back after speaking to them to advise that a part was not aligning correctly and they will need to have it replaced as they didn?t want to proceed. A short time after one of the installers knocked on my door and I expected him to say that they had to leave due to the parts issue however he just asked to use the restroom. When I asked him about the damaged part he said there was nothing wrong with the parts which I thought was strange They continued construction and at appr 6:30 PM Luis returned to the site. After some time we noticed they began dismantling the play set., We asked what happened, he advised that it wasn?t aligned correctly as we had money bars instead of a slide. Then asked if he can work into the night and we didn?t have an issue. They worked until 1:00 AM at which point they left. Thursday, May 2nd We called Luis at 9:30 just for an ETA as my husband wanted to show him some installation issues that he found and the installer advised that he was enroute and should be on site in 1 ½ hours. At noon we called and was advised he was in White Plains NY and was just leaving to our home. He gave his word he would be onsite before 2:00 prior to my husband having to leave for work. We advised that this morning at 9:30 he said was en route and still not here and that we wanted to show him the issues before my husband left for work at 2:00 PM. At 2:05 Luis called my husband to advise 2 persons would be there in 10 minutes but he wouldn?t be one of them. My husband reiterated how unacceptable this was that this morning twice he gave his word that he would be on site prior to 2:00 so that we can show him the issues. When I arrived home from work, at around 5:00 there were 2 persons installing the play set and advised they would be completed on that day. I asked if they were told about filling in the holes in the wood that were present due to the dismantling and errors and they advised yes they were completing that as well. After several hours of installation it was determined that there was no kit for the playhouse and they would need to come back to finish that portion. I again was reassured that all the rest would be completed that night. Friday Morning we found the rockwall had gouges and screws that didn?t even attach to the supporting rails?the wall was not installed onto the frame of the playset and is just lying against it. The swings are not fully assembled and the beam part is not attached to the frame of the playset. Neither the monkey bars nor slide were assembled. There are still holes in many of the pieces from both dismantling and putting back together as well as errors even though Luis advised that his team did fill in those holes. One of the tarp roofs is loose and the other wasn?t installed. There are cracked pieces of wood one of which supports the swing?s supporting leg. We called the installer to inquire as to what time will he be back and he advised he was not planning on returning until we received all of the parts for the play house. We then sent an e-mail to the purchaser and DC Services with just some of the damage found and we also called them to advise. My husband called DC to again complain of the installation issues and advise that we have photos. He then called me and asked if I sent an e-mail with the photo?s to DC services and I said no as I didn?t have her e-mail address however I will call her and ask for it. I left a message. Spoke to DC Services on Monday May 6th and did send photos?advised will send additional photo?s when I get home Since then we have called and e-mails several times have received little support in rectifying the installation issues, I get no responses to my e-mail or voicemails and when I continuously call until I speak to someone. Most recently they had on of their specialists survey the existing rock climb and he confirmed the equipment was damaged and they still refuse to purchase a new part?they want to fix it by purchasing wood and staining it. I?ve asked for a full refund and they insist on sending back an installer. Also, they?re sending the original installer who destroyed the playset to begin with and advised they are qualified and have no one else to correct the issues. After several months of calls and a last message to the owner stating that if they don't resolve I'll go to BBB, Angies List, FB, Twitter and any other site to advise of the horrible service, I was given a choice of having a refund or them continue the work. I chose the refund. It was truly the most horrible experience with a service provider I've ever experienced.

Purchased a large outdoor playset from Costco. Costco referred me to DC Services for assembly of unit. I called DC Services, provided manufacturer/model info and was given an estimate of time required and cost. I accepted the estimate and was sent an invoice via email. I paid the invoice using PayPal. As soon as payment was received (approx. 3 days) the DC Services technician called to schedule the date of installation. He arrived promptly as scheduled. It took 2 days to assemble this set. The technician (Jeff) was personably, courteous, professional and did an excellent job. Very happy with this service.
Description of Work: DC Services assembled a large ourtdoor playset at residence.
