Dayton's Pest Control

We recently had a new wood deck in the backyard & handrail on the front of the house installed & were worried about the hoards of local carpenter bees in the neighborhood making new homes in them. After looking through reviews for several companies, I settled on Dayton's. They were booked out about a week & a half in advance but did call a couple of times to offer me an earlier spot due to cancellations. Brad arrived a few minutes early & was extremely helpful. I was also given a quote for termite contract as I'm not happy with our current company. The entire spray took maybe 20mins for both areas & I can now put away my tennis racket & carpenter bee spray & simply enjoy walking out my back door without being attacked by territorial bees. I couldn't be happier.

They are the top of the field at what they do. I like their quality of service and their professional trustworthiness.

They are personable, prompt, thorough and courteous. Didn't try to over charge or up-sale. He just came out and did the job and was very courteous about it. They are not the lowest price but they did the work and I was pleased.

Very good to work with. Totally professional. Great advice and counsel regarding the right next steps to address the rodent problem.

as far as I know, everything went okay with the inspection and it was completed on time; i was not on site at the time of the inspection. staff have been very responsive to all calls I have made thus far.

I've been very impressed both with the quality of work and the customer service from Dayton's and our regular pest control man. He's polite, punctual, and very respectful of my time.

Dayton's has our Termite Contract. They inspect once a year. Their technician is very thorough and knowledgeable. Dayton's office has a problem with their scheduling system. I think some of the people in the office are not careful, or do not pay attention. When we scheduled, they told me the tech would be there between 2:30 - 3:30PM Friday. I took a couple hours off from work (I have to make up this time), arrived at home at 2:25PM and waited for the Tech. At 2:38PM I called to make sure he was on his way. The lady in the office was VERY unwilling to call the Tech to see if he was on schedule. She half-heartedly offered, but it was obvious that she really did not want to do it, so I said it was OK. She said the reservation means he will be here between 2PM to 3PM, and I should wait. I thought maybe she misread the schedule because it did not agree with the time I was given when I made the appointment. I waited until 3:35PM, called again, got another lady who called and checked with the inspector. He had come at 2PM because they told him the inspection was between 2-3PM. So we rescheduled and I have to take some more time off from work to meet with him next week. I am 99.9% sure I wrote the scheduled time correctly. I recall something like this happened in a previous year as well. I thought it was an anomaly, but it seems not. My feeling from talking with the office is that Dayton's does not care too much for their customer's schedule, or accuracy of appointments for that matter. My dentist calls a few days before the appointment. That would have been a really nice value added feature for Dayton's to implement. Looking at the photograph, they certainly have enough staff to do that. 1/14/13 update: Dayton's sent us some movie passes. That was really nice of them. It seems they do care. I will be very careful next year to make sure we do not confuse our scheduled inspection time. I upgraded some of the ratings.

They were wonderful. They were just as highly rated as they were shown on Angie's List. They were very courteous and nice.

Making the appointment was easy. Had to wait a week for the inspection which was ok. Inspector showed up on time. He walked through the house and then crawled into the crawl space and inspected the crawl space. He found where previous termite treatments had been done. After he was finished, he went to his car and about 15 minutes later he had my termite inspection report. It took approximately an hour for the inspection.

I was very pleased with the service and the results.

We are extremely pleased with their service. Ants in my kitchen are a thing of the past. YEAH! The technicians have always been very prompt, great at working with us on a schedule, very professional and friendly. I have recommended them to friends who are considering pest control service.

I saw a few bugs in our house and wanted them gone immediately so I could relax in my home. I searched Angie's list and found Dayton's Pest Control. Using a link to their website I emailed Dayton's about our problem. Julie at Dayton's called me later that morning with information about how they could control the problem, what would happen, costs, and answers to my questions. She was very friendly and helpful. She scheduled a visit to our home that Thursday and told me Adam would be coming to our home. Adam arrived right on time and was very friendly, clean and helpful. After the inside spraying and outside spraying and application, he came inside and told us more about the next time he will visit us. The quarterly service was the best value and choice for us. I can rest easy knowing the bugs have been controlled. So far so good, no more have been spotted but I like knowing he will come back out and treat again, for no cost, if we see anything else. The cost is worth the piece of mind. I have been very satisfied with Dayton's.

They came to my house and sprayed for fleas inside house, yard, and garage. It did not work in the garage. I've called them numerous times. First they said to wait, it will take time to work. Then The next two times I called they said they would have a technician call me back, which he never did. Meanwhile I haven't been able to park in my garage since May.

I called Dayton's pest control to take care of wasps in our chimney. They said they would be able to treat it if the nest was accessible from the outside. The inspector came out promptly and was very knowledgable and friendly. He inspected the area and said the nest was not easily accessible so he would not be able to treat it. He advised me to build a fire to remove the wasps and said there would be no charge! I will call Dayton's again if I ever have more trouble.

Dayton's Pest Control did a good job of getting rid of the bugs. It is A's all the way and I will continue using them.

They are really good. They are very professional. I didn't do a lot of comparison shopping because I had to find someone quickly.

I have been told that spray is environmentally friendly. They usually will just call and leave me a message and tell me that they will be out the next day. They come, they spray and then they leave. It's never been disruptive or disturbing. My kids have not had any sort of reaction to it, which is good. I would continue to use them.

The people from Dayton's Pest Control are excellent, I highly recommend them.

When a woodpecker started pecking holes in my porch roof supports and I saw some ants, I thought I might have a real problem and in a panic, I looked on Angie's List for some one to call. Because of the good reviews, it did not take me long to decide on Dayton's Pest Control. That was on Monday, and the nice woman on the phone said she could send some one out on Wednesday. Adam was the name of the technician. Not only was he on time and very knowledgeable, he was also extremely nice and immediately put me at ease. He came prepared to treat for carpenter ants, but after spending a good hour inspecting the house - even the crawl space - he determined that I did not need any treatment. The woodpecker was just after carpenter bee larvae, and Adam said it is too late in the year to treat effectively for carpenter bees - it would just be a waste of money. He also assured me I didn't have any termites. He made some suggestions about how to keep the woodpecker away and said someone would call me next spring to see if I want them to come spray for the bees. As he was preparing to leave and I was headed for my checkbook, he told me there was no charge! I will definitely be using Dayton's Pest Control next spring for the bees and anything else that I might need! I am very happy I called them!

I am pleased with this company because of their consistent work. They show up on time and do not get in your way around the house. I would recommend them.

I contacted Dayton's based on reviews from Angie's list. I was looking to start Pest Control service at the home we recently purchased. The technician assigned to us (Frank) called at an inconvenient time for us to be there. He rearranged his schedule during the day and came at a convenient time for us. Frank was professional and courteous and explained all the treatments he provided as well as how our ongoing services would be provided. I know that we could have spent less money for some other company, but I feel we will be more than adequately cared for.

I looked Dayton Pest Control up on Angie's List -Called the company a real person answered the phone no recording, told him my problem he assured me he could correct my problem with ANTS EVERYWHERE. I ask when he could come to my home and he told ..(like within 1 or 2 Days) he came showed me his idenity with Dayton Pest . Extremely nice and very informative and answered all my questions and I had lots of them. I HAD EVERYWHERE INSIDE AND OUT----I HAVE NOT SEEN A ANT SICE THE DAY HE SPRAYED FOR SURE WILL USE DAYTON PEST CONTROL FOR A LONGTIME. SOO NICE DKP

They are wonderful to work with. They come out if there is a problem. Their guys that come out to do the quarterly exterminating around the house are very nice and very professional. They inspect for termites without charge. They will come out and make sure everything around the house is in excellent condition. They come out once a year for termite inspection which they do not charge. If I wasn’t in the house when they come then they write a letter saying that they did an inspection and it was fine.
