Daniel Hood Roofing

After months of seeing a blue tarp on my roof, due to most companies I contacted did not do repair jobs. Since my insurance only coveted the leaking area, the company who put the tarp on wanted over 3 times the insurance estimate. I finally contacted D. Hood, 2 wel l dressed, clean cut young men came out, acted very professional, one named Larry who seemed to b in charge,presented a lengthy video touti.g the company, spent 30 minutes climbing on my roof Taking pictures and finding g other areas of age related damage. I was impressed and the price was just twice the insurance estimate which I felt was fair. WE SHOOK HANDS on the price and deal, SIGNED A CONTRACT. Larry said they would contact me within a week to set up an appointment for the work crew to arrive. Now, in the DEEP SOUTH where I was reared accompanying my HORSE TRADING Grandfather on his business deals, a LOOK-THE-MAN-IN-THE-EYE-HAND SHAKE was an agreement sealed in stone by YOUR WORD OF HONOR! Ten days after Larry's presentation, he called to tell me they had a problem finding matching vinyl roofing of which I already showed him an unwrapped bundle saveed leftover from the original installation. It had a50 year warranty and was 17 years in dry storage. He stated they could not use it, and the new they would order would add $1500.00 to the AGREED ON HAND SHAKE-CONTRACT-SIGNED DEAL. I told him he should have already done his research prior to finalizing a contract. He REFUSED to HONOR the contact. To me, that is a sleazy way to do business. My lawyer told me I would win the suit down the road, but if I forced them to HONOR, it would be a long while and I would receive shoddy workmanship. I went else where for a price that was LESS than the insurance estimate. To me, Daniel Hood Roofing is NOT a trustworthy, reputable company!

First Brandon was here for the estimate. He is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Then, Bradee and Harry came to do the repair. They were so outstanding, they did more than I expected, everything was so neat and they are just awesome! Hard working, friendly, excellent craftsmen. This is who you should call with your roofing needs.

There are many roofing companies available in East TN: I would recommend that you use anyone other than Daniel Hood Roofing and to educate yourself yourself on the type of person you are doing business with before agreeing to anything. [*** Link removed ***]

Amazing job! My roof replacement was done in a timely manner & the crew cleaned up beautifully. My roof tech came back out after the installation to perform another inspection to make sure everything was installed correctly & there were no nails or trash left behind.

Wonderful quick and professional.

A sales representative came to my home. He took an hour of my time. He made a very long marketing speech. At the end he gave me three estimates, only total dollars, that range between 110% and 30% above every other quote I have. I asked for a quote with details on the materials and price. Till today I do not have his quote back. Most likely I will go with a different company since I don't have a quote and I will not pay 30 % more without a justifications on materials. I've got the strong impression that the company is not serious

After all the back and forth the insurance called for two independent appraisals which settled in our favor. after approval ,Daniels crew was out here and in one day day it stripped and completed . Excellent work. Daniel is an outstanding young man, and did me an excellent job. I would definitely call on him again for my roofing needs.

Salesman came out inspected the roof gave me a quote to stop the leak. Roofers have been out twice and done work but yet my roof still leaks and now in order to fix the leak Hood roofing wants more money for further work. Is it possible that they quoted low in order to get the job? Hmmmmmm The communications from them to me has been worse the horrible with me constantly having to reach out to them to get answers.

I couldn't be more pleased. Very professional. They are every customer-oriented. Competitively priced. Fantastic job. I'd give them the highest rating. Attention to detail. They were fantastic. They have the newest technique and materials. The salesmen was great and they are very interested.

The sales team were very helpful and extremely knowledgable in what they were selling. When it came to the installation of the roof, the crew were very polite and did a very good job. From the time i signed the paperwork to the time the roof was completed was just a matter of days.

They always do good work at a reasonable price. If I ever have a problem they come back to fix it. They're always the first people I call whenever I have a problem at my house. They're my go-to company.

It went flawlessly from start to finish. They were very thorough and communicated very well. I would hire them again.

Daniel came out, knew exactly what the problem was. He gave me free upgrade from a 20 years shingles to a 50 years shingles. Did the job the same day and the clean up was good.

Daniel is one of the best in the business. Extremely knowledgable about roofing systems and cares about quality. There are several companies that can just put on a roof... but if you care about the whole roofing system, look, but most importantly - protecting the investment of your home - then Daniel is your guy!

They did fine; they were good. They took it down so fast they left some of the concrete in the ground, but I don't want to give them a bad mark for that because they were in here and out of here like they said they would be. They came when they said they would and were very fast. They were in and out in no time taking my little white fence down They took everything off just like they said they would. They were good. They did not do the holes exactly like I wanted them to. Their responsiveness was very good.

Hoods Home Service were professional and efficient. The handymen were prompt and wasted no time getting started on repairs. The roof was repaired with no out of pocket expense due to insurance coverage.

Work was completed in a timely manner and was well executed.

It went ok. They ended up getting an additional $200 from me.
