Description of Work: Chauncey and Reynolds replaced our geothermal furnace in our home. I cannot say enough good things about their service, their technicians, their |attention to the job, and prompt response to our requests. The technicians that actually did the installation were professional, kind, friendly, and knew their business. Brad Chauncey was our contact person who was totally professional and made this major expense as painless as possible!! He followed up with correspondence and a phone call to insure that we were pleased with the work. We were most satisfied from the first contact with Chauncey & Reynolds through the final check-up. We will continue to use Chauncey & Reynolds for our seasonal checks, for they deliver the kind of good service and professionalism we look for in a service business. Description of Work: The team showed up on schedule and immediately went to work replacing my AC unit. They worked diligently and completed the project in approximately 4 hrs. The work was completed and the work site cleaned up. I was very impressed with their professionalism and dedication to getting my system repaired. I would definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: They installed a new HVAC system. We are very pleased with their work and how the new system is functioning. They worked to address some uneven heating and cooling issues due to a previous addition to the house. One problem with the installation was resolved immediately. We are very pleased with the lower utility bill this month!

Description of Work: We replaced our downstairs split HVAC system...New AC unit and Furnace...Spoke with the owner about equipment options...he was very open to my questions and as a result we came up with a new combination that we both felt offered a good balance of features, comfort and economy. Installation went timely and was executed well...the team worked hard and called in help when and where they needed it...a supervisor came out to inspect their work mid-way through. There was no miscommunication and they left the site in better shape than they got it....I raised a potential concern a couple of weeks after the install and they very promptly came back to check and adjust....I have no complaints and would use them again...they did our upstairs units about a half year ago as well. Make sure you agree on potential rebates with them up front so you understand what the net cost will actually be.

Description of Work: They replaced a return (duct) vent box on the h/ac unit. Arrived in the time frame and went straight to work. The replacement piece is much more substantial than the original. The work was just done today, but I am pleased with it. I felt that their price for the job was very fair.

Description of Work: Chancey & Reynolds came out to maintenance my heat & air unit for the summer. They did the installation of the unit a few years ago and it has worked great. I've only had one issue with it several years ago but they promptly came out and fixed it under warranty and it's not had any problems since that one instance. I like their professionalism and promptness and they always seem to do the job right

Description of Work: Chancey & Reynolds was the original installer of my Trane heat pump system about 28 years ago. Over that period of time we have had only a couple of minor problems with the system one of which involved cleaning the air handler. I called the company after noticing that the heat pump appeared to be trying to cool and defrost at the same time and was very loud while running. The repairman responded promptly after my call and worked on the unit. Immediately after the repairman left, I noticed that the heat pump was still doing the same thing so I called the repairman and he told me that he would try to return the next morning. The next day (Friday) came and went without any contact with the repairman or his firm. Monday morning I called the office and another service call was scheduled. The original repairman returned and diagnosed the problem as being a bad circuit board. A new board was installed and the unit appears to be operating fine. The repairman apologized for not returning Friday morning as promised because the company was slammed with service calls and priority calls were being given to those whose air conditioning was not working at all. My only concern was that we were not contacted early Friday if the company knew that a visit was not going to take place that day so we would not be waiting all day for someone who was not coming.

Description of Work: First of all my call was answered quickly by a real person. She offered to have someone come out that afternoon, but I scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The service provider arrived on time and identified himself. He asked what problems we'd been having and proceeded to start trouble shooting. He quickly found the problem ( a wiring problem from when the thermostat was recently moved or perhaps since the unit was installed). He inspected the system to see if there were any other problems and found none. I thought the fee was reasonable and will use the company again.

Description of Work: I have an old heat pump, several pieces broke at different times. They came out promptly each time and fixed all. Very nice people.

Description of Work: We used them to check for separation of vents from the main line caused by animals in the space. They were on time, performed the work, the ceiling was repaired and it was barely noticeable. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again myself.

Description of Work: We were long time customers of Chancey & Reynolds at another location so did not hesitate to contact them for our new residence's needs. Had a Honeywell humidifier installed to alleviate excessive dryness.12/28/11. Impressed with the efficiency and conduct of all personnel. Decided that 17 year old furnace was on it's last useful legs and solicited bids on replacement. Again Chancey & Reynolds was low bidder in regards to the furnace as well as the installation of an Aprilaire air cleaner. In addition to the installation, had all duct junctions re-taped and replaced the old thermostat All work completed on time and on budget. Impressed by the professional and efficient manner that project was handled.

Description of Work: They were very professional and timely. Someone came out to give us an estimate on our HVAC unit, which needed to be replaced. He explained the difference between the lower grade unit, standard and deluxe models. He also explained about the rebates that were available for the higher end energy efficient model. They were neat putting the unit in and made some changes in duct work for us that the TVA Energy Right personnel told us could help with a room we were having trouble heating. They had to remove the attic pull down stairs and door to get the unit up in the attic and replaced it with new stairs we bought. The molding tore apart some and we have still not replaced it.
