Description of Work: We had two crews. The first added insulation to our crawl space. Originally scheduled for March 12, but our crawl space had standing water and they could not do it. We rescheduled for March 23. The crew of four arrived on time. Checked the crawl space for water (it was dry). They started installing 6" fiberglass bats immediately and finished in about 3 hours. They did an excellent job. The second crew arrived about about the same time. They were going to spray foam insulation in our shed. They checked out the job and started immediately. There were two installers. They covered the walls and floor with plastic inside the shed and sprayed the roof rafters. once that was complete, they went under the shed and spray foamed the floor by laying on the ground. They covered all surfaces with about two inched of closed cell foam insulation. It took almost four hours. They removed and disposed of the plastic sheeting. The over spray inside by scraping the walls. Under the shed, they removed excess foam and disposed of it. The technicians on both crews were professional, disposed of all waste and worked quickly. They mailed a invoice that was exactly what the estimate stated. I'm happy with the work and would recommend this to a friend.

WE ARE JUST NOT READY BUT, WE HAVE CONTACTED MARK BLEDSOE AND TOLD HIM THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO HIRE HIM FOR THE JOB.HE CAME BY ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON TO LOOK AT WHAT HAD TO BE DONE AND TOLD US WE WOULD HAVE A PRICE BY THAT EVENING. TRUE TO HIS WORD WE HAD AN EMAIL THAT EVENING. WE THOUGHT VERY REASONABLE. I WILL HAVE TO GET BACK WHEN THE JOB HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

Description of Work: I contacted CFI through Angie's list. I was contacted by Chris Gordon. Note, I did not have the work done by CFI. I did not like their professionalism so decided on another contractor. I gave Chris a copy of a TVA energy audit I'd had done. He came and looked at my home and left. He said he would send me a quote by email. I did receive an email but it was lacking enough detail for me to feel comfortable that they would do a professional job. The following is the complete quote: 1. Install blown fiberglass in attic to bring up to r38. Install cardboard baffles at eaves as needed. Install can light covers. Total price $xxxx. 2. Install 2 inch rigid foam board on knee walls. Total price $yyyyy. 3. Install can foam at penetrations in attic. Total price $zzzz.00. Install 2 inch foam board on 2 doors going into storage areas. Total price $aaaa... I went back and forth many times via email to get clarification on the work to be done. I can't say that I got a sense that I was getting the level of detail for the total price I was going to have to pay.

Description of Work: A man came out to do an estimate, and told him I wanted a pull-down stair in the hallway, uh huh, and uh huh. I really wanted cellulose; however, I chose CFI Insulation which uses foam, and the price was reasonable. I decided to call CFI to set an appointment. The salesman told me I had made an appointment for the following Monday which was August 13, 2012. I told him that I probably wrote down the date for him to do the work on a scratch pad on my bedside table, but when I looked for an appointment on my bedside table, I did not see an appointment, so I was concerned.

Description of Work: CFI was very cooperative in scheduling their work around the work mof another company that was removing exterior siding. The CFI crew was punctual and very professional in applying the spry foam insulation. They cleaned up and was on their way in a very short time. You could not ask for a bettter response and result.
