Description of Work: Arrived promptly and worked very professionally. Pressure-washed my large deck and then sealed and painted it.

Description of Work: Interior painting of 2-story home. Sales rep gave estimate but did not include everything..cost me an additional $400. Supervisor ignored my requirements including: (1) Was to set up mixing paint and cleaning up brushes/rollers in backyard NOT front yard. Front yard was newly sodded. Supervisor told his painting asst to set up in the front yard. They moved as I instructed. (2) Supervisor told me he knew how to take down and put back up vertical blinds. When they left, my wife tried to open the blinds and they almost fell on her. The painters merely laid the blinds on top of the mounting bracket and did not reinstall them. (3) I asked the supervisor to remove two toggle bolts in the master bedroom. He not only removed those but instructed his painter to remove ALL the toggle bolts in the house. The Supervisor and his painter removed almost half of the toggle bolts in the house before I managed to stop them. (4) Before the painting began, I told the Supervisor NOT to get paint on the hardware floor. The painters stored their wet paint canvas on the hardware floor, wet paint down. (5) The painters dripped paint on some of the furniture which we did not notice until much later. (6) The painters stacked heavy books on top of the computer printer, the result of which broke the document feeder. After the work was done, I tried to contact the company president. Each time the secretary told me he was either on another call or was in a meeting, but he would call me back. He never did. As far as I am concerned, this company should NOT engage in any work where the owners and furniture are present. It is the poorest example of a professional in this business.

Description of Work: was promised a crew of 5 or 6 had 2 actual painters and a supervisor who came late took 2 hr lunch hours and left a 3--really felt sorry for the 2 painters who stayed on the job but I did the actual clean up every night to get them out earlier--when I complained I was told that he had some problems and it was ok for him to leave--also we ordered Moores high gloss paint for the trim and I happened to see a can of Sherwin williams paint that he was using--we had the contract that showed what we ordered but they called in someone else to tell us we were wrong. We had several of the companies employees in here actually screaming at us and I keep telling them to leave--they wanted (after I had paid them 7000.00) for a terrible job--ask for a additional 180.00 for fixing nail pops! I told them I worked the night of my birthday cleaning up all the paint drips all over the house--the owners comments was we should have called for help--wasn't that his job as owner to make sure the job was done right? All the blame was placed on us and what we got was a terrible paint job, the job was not done the way we were promised and I would not wanted anyone to go through what we did, I need more painting done but we are afraid to let anyone into our home again |

Description of Work: I had used this company for exterior painting and been pleased. The estimate for replacing the wallpaper in two small bathrooms was $1350, with the caveat that it may be higher depending on how difficult the paper was to remove. That was more than I wanted to spend and chose to do the work myself.
