They did a really nice job painting. Everyone was clean and quick on the job. I would definitely use them again.

They are coming back out here to do some work they missed and part of the siding has come off. They are very prompt and their pricing was fair. They did the work in a day.

Lied and told us the paint co didn't have high gloss for trim when they did. Did not cover floor and furinture very good and got paint all over things took my wife and I days to clean up and years later still finding paint on things . People that use CertaPro need to have their head examed. I wouldn't use them to paint a dog house. Promised us 5 people and got 2 1/2.

I was very impressed with their management style. If I had any problems, the management got it fixed. They quality of the work is good as well. I have used them before and will use them again.

We have been looking forward to having our house repainted for years. We've been the house for 12 years and things were looking dingy (if not outright ugly in a few spots). CertaPro had done some work at our church and we always kept that in mind when choosing a painting contractor. We also added some exterior painting including our picket fence, exterior columns and shutters. Overall the crew was fast, careful and did a great job. As I watched the crew work, I noticed several little things that showed they cared about quality. When they painted the exterior columns, they removed the downspouts instead of painting behind them. In our kitchen we have outlet covers that are painted to match the walls. They removed them and painted them to match the new color. While staining the fence, they carefully moved all the bushes out of the way to get to the entire fence. They helped us move some furniture around after they were done to help us get back to normal faster. It's little things like this that make us very happy with our choice of CertaPro. The final punch list was very small and taken care of quickly. Price is probably not the cheapest but we paid to have confidence in the quality of the job. It was worth it. I would recommend CertaPro without reservation. (Quick note: Our job was mostly interior painting but CertaPro seems to be classified as exterior painting by Angie's List. Don't know how to change that.)

From call to estimate to paint - very smooth process. no hiccups whatsoever no fooling around-no mess-no problems. all done within one week of the initial call.

The two workers that were here got it done in one day. I was happy with the service but not happy with the office. They changed the schedule on us. So after changing our plans they changed the time back to the original. It was problem with communication. I would hire them back again. The two men really did a great job. They were very thorough.

Grossly poor job. So much so that we will have to replace the trim and doors in the entire house. Trim paint was full of runs and streaks. Our builder has tried to sand, but it impossible to correct. Many places in the trim were not even covered. The wall paint was uneven and in many places, was not even covered. Must have used a large, nappy roller as the walls look like they have been texturized. When asked about the final result of the paint, I was told that all of their jobs look like that. How could they possibly have repeat customers with the quality of the job looking as it does. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A PROFESSIONAL JOB! I really do not want them back inside our house.

The price was very good. I think they are very punctual, and quality oriented. I like them. They came when they said they would, they finished when they said they would, and then I found a spot which they came and finished it.

Very responsive with original estimate, punctual with time of service. Had to remind them to go back and hand wash awning. I felt like I was paying extra for this and it should be done. Some residual spots on house and awning after pressure washing that I cleaned myself (not a huge deal). My flood or house lights had water in them afterwards (these should have been removed or wrapped before cleaning). Pricing might have been a bit high or moderately high. You may find someone to do it for cheaper but they may not be as reliable. Overall, negatives were minor and I was satisfied. What I saw while they were here and asked them to fix, they did. They were professional, prompt. I would use this company again and I would recommend them. They have done previous projects for me and did a GREAT job staining my privacy fence and painting shutters. The company does care about customers and does follow up with you.

Professional quote. Professional job at a competitive price. Had a misunderstanding about the color and they handled it professionally. I would use them again.

Estimate provided before hand. Showed up on 5/12/14 and power .washed driveway. On 5/13 returned, sealed cracks and applied one coat of sealer. Dried within 24 hours.

This project has been a project from h*** despite the good rating on Angie's List and good discussion on project scope I had with CertaPro during sales process. Sales went great, painting was the problem. Windows on my home were Andersen windows with a failing proprietary coating on the exterior window of window sashes, failure due to sun exposure damage. I contacted Andersen and they said the sashes needed to be painted by first sanding to roughen surface, then applying an oil-based primer then two top coats of latex or oil based paint. I decided to hire a contractor since I couldn't stand on a ladder to paint the exterior and had other home repair projects to take care of. I was impressed with CertaPro's sales process, very professional salesman discussed the project, I discussed the scope provided the email from Andersen with the instructions. Since some of the caulk needed to be redone anyway and the old caulk was not paintable, I decided to contract them to remove all the existing caulk and replace with new, paintable, caulk. Making a long, long, painful story fairly short, during my project CertaPro also had another project involving a large church and they pulled people off my project and one guy quit after 1 day with CertaPro and the job took a day longer than CertaPro estimated (5 days instead of 4 as I recall). Some new guy showed up every day, sometimes two new guys along with the lead painter and another painter that was present off and on. But then one or two or three would disappear. I didn't care about how long it took, and told them time wasn't an issue for me. I caught one painter painting the window sashes inside without using primer. I told the lead painter and he straightened the guy out. On Wednesday the Quality manager comes out to do a walk thru and a punchlist. I explained that they were nowhere near finished and it was too early to do a punchlist but he wanted to do it anyway. So we documented everything that wasn't done. They had at least two more days of painting to go. Some windows hadn't even been primed inside. Next morning the lead painter shows up complaining that the boss had given him a hard time about things not being done. I said that there was no issue with me, but the long punchlist is probably what set the boss off. Late Friday morning I'm told the Quality guy wasn't coming back to review the punchlist, I had to review the punchlist and let the painter know about any remaining items. From ground level I could see some problems with caulk so I moved ladder from window to window all around the house and checked the caulking. A very poor job. Guy rushed through the caulking and apparently just quickly squeezed a bead and smeared it smooth. He didn't leave enough material in the joints. Cracks and gaps and holes had opened up when caulk dried. Painter was p***** when I brought this up and he made me climb ladder and point to each and every bad spot, multiple spots on most windows, some just one spot or none. Painter squeezed a dab of caulk at each area and with 1 fast stroke, rapidly smeared it. No attempt at quallity, I knew I would have other caulking failures as this is no way to caulk. Painter was in a huff as I showed him a few other places that needed touchup. I had only contracted for 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of white paint over brown windows so all the brown wasn't totally hidden, but I wasn't griping about that, just areas where there were obvious spots, parts of sash that were primed but not painted, large globs of paint on glass, etc. Painter was being pressured to get done and pick up the check when he leave the job. By the end of the day, I just wanted them OUT of MY HOUSE. Somehow primer globs got on my vinyl floor, kitchen counters, and on the stair railing which I cleaned off without any damage. So after I cool down I realize they left many paint lines on the window tracks where their brush hit the track as they painted the top and bottom of the sashes and there were many light areas on tracks where they had obviously wiped off paint that had accidentally gotten onto the track. Not a big deal as it is difficult to avoid, it just needs to be cleaned off at the end. Then I notice that the paint margin where glass meets wood was very rough. Some paint on glass, some didn't make it all the way to the glass, some window glazing putty/sealant exposed, some covered, etc. They obviously made no attempt to do any final cleaning / touchup that is required at the end of a job. They just rushed out. Then a few weeks or a month later, when I clean the windows I find that if I bump the sash face the paint easily peels off in large strips / sheets. I noticed this on 3 or 4 windows out of 22. After many phone calls and several weeks, the Quality guy guy and the supervisor came out and admitted they messed up. They agreed to have a painter come out and scrape the paint off the windows, sand, re-prime and repaint the identified windows. So a couple days later one of the original painters with a good nature comes over during his lunch from a nearby job and starts the repair. Says he wants to come over during his lunches. OK by me. I'm at the house anyway so I don't care. Nice painter accidentally/carelessly leaves white paint scraping shards all over my white vinyl floor. Took a handyman that was working for me several hours to find it all and peel it all off. I also find strips of white paint on exterior of windows on brown window sill, on brick, etc. I clean some of this. So this happens in Sept or Oct after the job was done in July. In Feb as I'm doing some work with drapes, blinds, ect I bump the face of another sash and the paint easily chips. I go to pull on chip and a long strip of paint peels up again. My blood boils. I just leave it and go on with other things. A few months later I find another window with same problem. Blood boils again. Several months later when I'm finished with most everytjhing else inside to get house ready to put on the market I decide I'm going to call CertaPro and talk to the owner about this obvious problem. Several phone calls over several weeks and owner finally comes to house and agrees they are responsible and he'll have a painter come out and scrape, sand, repaint the identified windows. I ask if he'll check ALL the windows to be sure we get all the defective work identifed and reapired this time. He said he'd get Sherwin Williams to come and check the windows. Normally CertaPro uses SW paint but on my job they used SW primer and paint on exterior and SW primer and Pittsburgh paint on interior since I was already using Pittsburgh paint on walls and interior trim myself. So after a week I'm told they can't test windows because paint isn't SW. I check with PP and they don't have a test kit or anyone that can check these windows. So I check online and with a different independent local paint supplier who says to apply duct tape and pull. I know a little about paint pull tests but know duct tape isn't right - its too strong, blue tape is too weak, There are various strengths of green painters tape and I'm told to use the strong adhesion version. I buy strong adhesion but use some regular green tape I have at the house and determine that the new three windows seem to be the only ones that exhibit a deficiency that can be detected now a year after the initial job. The paint is now brittle from curing and is difficult to peel because the surface wont tear without scoring which is part of the pull test. I scored a couple of windows but they didn't peel during test and I stop so I don't have to repair a bunch of score marks throughout the house. Kudos to CertaPro for honoring their 2 year warranty even though it took more effort than should have to get them to honor their warranty. CertaPro has a great sales process. You don't care about sales, anybody can butter you up and talk a good story. You care about execution. Execution was POOR. Caulking was worse than rookie work. Its not 2 years later and I've got to caulk most windows due to holes and tears in thin caulking and touchup paint due to color difference Should have done it late last year but couldn't get to it. Paint was poorly executed. Kept pulling people off my job. Didn't do surface prep as they were specifically contracted (and should have known due to professional experience). Accidental touches and other sloppy work wasn't cleaned up. No proper final touchup and clean up. Most of the individual painters are pretty nice guys, but they are pushed to be fast and move on, cut corners, and don't look back. Not good management initiatives for a job that requires a little time and attention to detail to be done 'right'. Most people don't know quality paint work or crappy paint work when they see it. New paint on a surface makes things look good, but unless you know what you are looking for looks can be deceiving. I was extremely dissapointed that despite my best efforts to properly define the scope of work needed for this project, and after reviewing several painters that scored well on Angies List and were recommended from other friends to have this project end up such a horror story. My advice is to trust quality paint work to some other contractor with high scores on Angie's List or from recommendations from family or friends whom you trust. Interview them carefully and check references, ask about quality. Ignore short painting reviews on AL; if there is no content the review is meaningless. I advise anyone against considering CertaPro for any job where there is any need for quality, professional, painting. I would DEFINITELY NOT use Certa Pro again. EVER. Hire a smaller contractor where their work is their name. Don't get fooled by big company marketing.

It was done fast and professionally. It was more expensive than I expected and the color charts are not as accurate as I would have liked, but overall I was satisfied with their services.

These guys were professional. Superintendent Don did a great job of organizing the work and keeping to schedule. Crew members Donald and Shawn were excellent workers and did a great job of repairing and repainting. The CertaPro office was also efficient in handling he quotation for the scope of work (Drew) and the scheduling of the work (Tricia). Very pleased with the experience.

Used them a few years ago to paint the interior of my house. The painters were very professional, on time and did a great job. Used them to paint the cedar siding on the back of the house and the request was to paint 2 coats. Fortunately, my husband was watching them and they had only painted one coat. He promptly called the office and informed them of the situation to which they sent the men back out to put on the 2nd coat of paint.

Certa Pro repaired the plaster on my ceilings and painted the keeping room and kitchen. They also painted the exterior trim of the house. Excellent painting job. Furniture moved and put back carefully. Everything left clean. Answered all my questions promptly. Excellent service.

The experience started off very well. However, do to attempting to finish the job in two day their finished product was very much substandard with paint runs on walls and trim (they chose to use a brush instead of a roller in certain areas and it is obvious to the eye that there are two different textures) We called to have them come do some rework to correct defects and it has taken them almost 10 days to respond to our telephone calls (this was only done when we contacted the Corporate Office) Overall I am sad to say that we could not recommend Centrapro to our friends and will not be using them in the future,

The whole process was handled in a professional way, from the estimate to the completion of the painting. We were kept informed and updated on the scheduling of the project. Everything was done as promised. The painters were excellent workers. They worked hard, and did a beautiful job!

In moving out and preparing my home to be listed for sale I initially wanted the shutters, part of the foyer, the livingroom and the ceilings painted. They came out and did that and it was great! I became overwhelmed but what I thought I could paint and called them back. They painted an upstairs bedroom and bath, did some wall repairs in another bath and painted that wall and painted the dining room. I got overwhelmed again and called them a third time! This time they painted all the baseboards, doors and doorjams! My home looks so amazing! They answer their phone or respond quickly to any messages I've left, they are on spot with appointments, their painting crews are prompt, curteous, and very neat. They work quickly and are professionals! This company brings back memories of the way businesses used to be run! Bravo to CertaPro Painters! I would call them again in a heartbeat!
