Cedar Bluff Plumbing

The plumbers called at the time they said the would. They came out and inspected the job to drain the existing heater and be sure that they had the right unit then left to get the appropriate heater for the installation. When they cam back, they removed the existing heater and hooked up the new one. During the fill and initial heating, a leak was observed coming from the heater. They determined this wasn't normal so the drained this unit and left to get a replacement. The replacement unit went in quickly and smoothly. They answered all of my questions. The entire job was handled professionally.

I purchased a deal of 1 hours labor for a fixed price, plus any extras. After seeing the problem, plumber told me there was a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer and that I could order what I needed from them for free, saving the cost of the parts. I did so and he came back when the parts arrived about a week later and installed them. The price I paid for 1 hour's labor was all it cost me.

They were really good. They had to come back out a couple of times to get it right. They just seemed knowledgeable and did what they said they would do. They were recommended by a friend. I would recommend them.

He determined it was from the refrigerator and that the plumbing was good. He did not charge me!

CBP came out as quickly as they could. Their schedule was full because of other pipe breaks related to cold weather. They first came and confirmed the leak was between water meter and house. They recommended a leak locater service. Locator server spend a considerable amount of time actually finding the leak. Leak was not extremely large and was under driveway. After locator finished CBP came back. Dug up driveway. Found leak and repaired. We discussed concrete repair. They suggested and I agreed that I should not pay their hourly rate for concrete replacement. I did that work. I appreciate their honesty in that respect. I was totally satisfied with the work done. They were not able to come a quickly as I would have liked but it is completely fair that I had to wait in line for my turn. They could not come out as quickly as they would have liked, either. The length of time for my wait was acceptable. The price they charged was fair. If I have repairs I will definitely use them again. I have other plumbing work planned for the house. I will use them for that work, too.

They were on time and very professional

Very pleased with the services. We had heard water running in the house but couldn't find any open faucets. Walking to the back yard revealed a faucet gushing water about 1 foot into the yard. We didn't know how long it had been leaking. We turned the water off most of the day to avoid wasting water. We called the plumber. He called within an hour and arrived 30 minutes later. He replaced it with a new faucet in about 20 minutes. Chuck was very courteous and professional. Will definitely call him again. His office is in the Bearden area.

My wife said the service crew was very professional and courteous. They explained the problem and what they needed to do to fix it. The woman I spoke to on the phone was able to get us serviced today, the day we placed the order. We appreciate her responsiveness very much (the temperature is in the single digits and we would have really missed not having hot water).

These two fellas were terrific. The water in the kitchen faucet would flow from the sprayer but not the faucet. These two plumbers came out and replaced the diverted. They worked with my schedule and the owners schedule and completed the task quickly despite the owners direction. I do not remember the exact time or dollar amount but I can tell you I was happy with the service and the fee.

Smoothly. No wasted time. Efficiently

The service's owner came to our house promptly and was very professional and knowledgeable. When we had the work done the guy and assistant who came out balked at having to dig the ditch for the water line. An area was too narrow to use his backhoe. He wanted to call in another guy for about $1,000 more. He would have used some sort of underground auger to prepare the place for the new line. We refused that and were going to go elsewhere when the owner told him to just dig the ditch manually and get the job done. The two guys dug and laid the water line but left the ground above it in a high mound. He came back to throw grass seed and I asked him about the unsightly mound. He said it would settle down after a rainfall or two. It did not settle down. We called the owner and he came out personally to even out the land. I threw out some more grass seed sand it appears okay, thanks to the owner. I'd give the owner of Cedar Bluff Plumbing an A but the guy who came out here gets a D for trying to talk us into a more expensive method and for cfinishing the job so carelessly. The plumbing work itself seems fine at this time after a few months.

Scheduling was great! I called early in the morning and the technician arrived later that day. It took a while to locate where the leak was, but as soon as he cut a hole where we thought it was located, he found it. They had to go into the wall and take out a section of pipe and replace it. He did a lot of work and even went to purchase the correct size part for the replacement. He completed all of the work in about an hour and a half. They are strictly just a plumbing company and unable to repair the wall. He did clean up well though for the job. The technician was great! I had a promotion for their service and prepaid about $99 and the only additional costs came to around $60. Overall, I am happy with their services.

Tim and his helpers arrived when scheduled and did a very professional installation. I was very particular that the craftsmanship of the installation be of high quality since I was having the water heater relocated to the garage and all the plumbing would be visible. Tim and his helpers did an excellent job. Everything looks great and works great. No disappointments here. There were no surprised in the estimate; they did the job for the exact amount that was quoted in the estimate. They did a great job of hauling off the old discarded tank and plumbing. They had to cut some of my existing drain lines to remove the old tank from the crawl space and they did an excellent job of restoring the drains to they original condition. I would certainly consider using them on my next plumbing job.

Problem with leaking shower head first got my attention. Then the water could not be turned on so had to use another shower. Dripping continued! Found Angie's Special Deal for Cedar Bluff Plumbing, made appointment and gentleman arrived on time. After covering his shoes with gauge slip ons he turned off the water source, disassembled shower knob, noted problem, called office to see if needed part was on hand, departed to pick up the part, returned, inserted new inner workings, turned on water, fixed a leaking hand held shower at same site and tested equipment for proper usage. All was well. I had a few questions about further plumbing issues and made arrangements to have these items worked on over the next few months.

I am uncertain about dates and exact costs, but I always call Cedar Bluff, because they are so responsive and reasonable (they give senor discounts too!).

We were very pleased with the quick service from Cedar Bluff Plumbing. In the middle of a remodeling project, our contractor found a wet spot in the crawl space . The water heater was leaking from above and it was not visible from the main floor so we had not caught it. We called Cedar Bluff Plumbing and they had the unit out and replaced within just a few hours . I might have gotten a slightly cheaper water heater if I had time to shop around, but I would do the same thing in the future with the circumstances I was in. I highly recommend and will definitely use Cedar Bluff Plumbing when I need help in the future.

CBP was able to make their service visit the morning that I made my initial repair request. They were able to quickly correct the problem and were in and out in 5-10 minutes. The repair was successful and the faucet is functioning well. Overall I am pleased with the responsiveness and the end result of their services, however, I am very disappointed with the cost of performing this service. They did not provide an invoice at the time of service, prefering to bill through the mail. Given their charge of $140 for 5-10 min of work, I now understand why they preferred to mail the invoice. When we received the bill, it did not provide a break-out between labor and parts. When I called to question the bill, it was noted that $110 is their standard service charge, regardless of how little time it took to perform the repair. If you have a relatively small job, I would recommend another company that has a lower flat rate service call charge to complete the repair. In the future, I will be using another local plumbing company who was recently very responsive and extremely reasonable in their pricing and does not have a $110 flat rate service charge. I certainly understand that plumbing repairs can be expensive, but $140 for 5-10 minutes of work doesn't sit well.

Cedar Bluff Plumbing did a good job, no problems. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were very nice to work with.

We currently are renters so the repair to our water heater was not our expense. The owner called directly after our call and the repair man came out two days later during my day off. The problem was found and the warranty people notified. Between our schedule and the repairman's commitments, it was two weeks before the work was accomplished, but ultimately the water heater was replaced and we have had no problems with the new one.

Once I asked if they gave discount to disabled veterans there attitude changed on the phone and they never showed up for work.

Timmy is Fantastic!! He does an excellent job! Very professional and very courteous. He did exactly what he said he would do. He was so nice to and they did an excellent job. We have a new pipe and a new water heater. I highly recommend Cedar Bluff Plumbing.
