Description of Work: Cleaned an old oriental runner that had been stored in a basement for many years. I was very pleased with the results; it looked better than I had expected.

Description of Work: I have 2 large rooms with area rugs over hardwood floors. Carrs was able to clean both eugs in place without damaging the hardwood. They were very knowledgable and had the appropriate specialized equipment. I was very happy with the skill and expertise of the technician, the friendliness of everyone I talked with, and with the quality of the work. I will definately recommend them and use them again myself. Overall excellent experience from start to finish.

Description of Work: Washed my elderly 12x10 wool patterned rug. Old and cherished. The carpet was returned to me within a couple of weeks, soft, clean, repaired and renewed!

Description of Work: They cleaned the carpets in 3 bedrooms and the living room of my 5 room rental. The tenants had been there 7 years-4 adults and 3 children ranging from 3 - 9 years old, and several small dogs who came and went after brief stays. The bedrooms were terrible-stains and traffic lanes- and we really just hoped that they would be presentable enough to rent out. We are on a very tight budget and expected to have to replace at least 1 room, but were hoping for the best. The owner( who does the estimates ) was on vacation when I called, but the manager made arrangements to come the next day. About an hour before he was due, the office called to let me know he was running behind, even though he was only 15 or 20 minutes late. As I expected, he agreed the carpets were terrible, and wouldn't guarantee they could get them clean, but promised to do their best. The worker showed up right on time 10 A.M. and got right to work, spending most of the day on the job. I guess the boss didn't want to get my hopes up when he did the estimate, but when they were done, we were totally AMAZED at the job they had done. Except for 1 or 2 stains that are now barely visible unless you know where to look, the carpets looked almost new. I should also mention that the carpet in 2 of the bedrooms was WHITE when the tenants moved in, brown when they started cleaning, and are now white again. Despite the fact that Carr's prices are higher than most of the big chains, after reading their reviews, it seemed that as a small company, they took pride in their work and wouldn't hesitate to make the extra effort to do the best job possible, and I was right. As I said before, the worker spent most of the day working on the house, and we couldn't have been happier with the results, it was well worth EVERY PENNY we spent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone, or use them again, you truly get what you pay for with them. They also offer a $40 first time customer discount.

Description of Work: The carpet technicians arrived on time. They thoroughly explained the process of carpet cleaning, discussing the soaps used and what causes carpet to spot. The young men were very polite and careful not to damage furniture and walls. The charges were explained in detail. Would definitely use this company again.
