Bulwark Exterminating Knoxville

I noticed that we still had some ants inside our kitchen. Called Bullwark and they scheduled a retreatment at no extra cost.

Came out to the house and performed an extensive inspection of the interior and exterior of the house (not yards, bushes, trees, etc.). Following the inspection spoke with me about what they found, recommended treatments and timeframes, etc. After our discussion, they set "sticky" traps, sprayed inside and outside... for all pests. The person was considerate, helpful, and answered all my questions. We hired them for monthly pest control services.

The experience with them is okay. There were a couple of problems one time, but it was just circumstances with one worker. They are fine. They are the only ones we have ever had, they have changed names a few times, but it is the same company. We have used them for about 4 years now.

They've done a good job. They charge $59 every month. I don't even know that they're at my house doing the service and it's great. They just come and go and they charge me through my credit card. We'll continue to use them.

The service depends on which guy comes out to do the job. Some of them do a great job, and some of them don't even know that they are supposed to call, and see whether you want them to come in or not. They may show up when you have things locked up or not. The last time they did not even ring the door bell. I think the owner, or the manager, is really nice, the service guys are not always good. They are inconsistent. The treatment that they use is good. They came a week ago, and they didn't call, and didn't ring the door bell. They just left the bill on the front door, and I wanted them to do things in the garage, and the basement, but I just saw the bill when I went out to let my puppy out. The price is pretty good. The service guys don't do what they are supposed to do. They are never here when they tell me they will be here. We are under a contract with them. I had another company before, and compared to them, they are a gem.

They came right on time and provided the service and they were very professional. Will definitely use them again in the future

Chris was personable and did a good job. I had a scheduling problem but they were really good at working with me.

Everything is good so far. No bugs for the past year around the house.

They're great. I really like our technician, Fox. He's just great. He comes in, he takes care of all the bugs in my yard. If I ask him to spray something else, he never complains. They will come back if I'm having a problem and respray at no charge.

They're prompt. I always get a notice that they're coming. It went fine. I would recommend them.

I liked that they let us know ahead of time when they're coming. They would let us know if there's anything special they need to attend to so they send us an email. We respond to that and they usually give us a week's notice. I had a fine and excellent interaction with them. The work that they did was excellent. I would absolutely recommend them.

It worked out good. We were very happy with the customer service of the guy who came out. The original price was $70 and when we had them come back; there was an additional $99.

That's very fine. He was here about 30 or 40 minutes and I did not follow him around. I think they did okay. I did not have a pre-existing problem but I also hadn't had the house sprayed in about two years. He was an older guy, he spent 40 minutes, he took his shoes off before he came in the house and they take those things around with them. I didn't follow him around but he was very courteous. The only thing he didn't know is what the warranty was and I said, "Well, normally it's 90 days." He said, "You'll have to call the office to find out" and I thought, "What if he's a contract person or something." The pricing was fine because I was used to paying $78 so that's fine and I know from calling around that a lot of places are a lot more expensive. He was professional.

I have with them for a couple of years now. I haven't had any problem. They do knock on my door and let me know if there is anything of concern. Last summer, I had a few more problems with the bees and they said they would spray. If I notice some in a couple of weeks, give them a call back and they would come back out & spray for nothing. They just wanted it to be under control because of the type of bees and if someone is allergic to bee sting, it could be hazardous. They are very honest in that front and very pleasant. My interaction was wonderful. The gentleman that comes to my home is very pleasant. He is very straightforward and honest. He always asks if I have any concerns and everything is going okay. They very customer focused and that's what I like about the company. They have not raised my price in two years and continue to give a good service. I haven't seen any spiders around here or any problem. Anytime I have called them, they have come back and sprayed for nothing. They said it was caused due to the boxes at home, which I haven't moved yet. They are very punctual. They call and let me know when they are coming. I don't have to be at home when they are spraying outside. They just leave something on my door, if I am not at home letting me know what they've done. They are very professional. If I had any problem, they are very polite. They take the time to explain things to me and let me know what services they have provided. I was just fortunate enough when I moved in here to come out and offer their services. I had great response and great care. They have taken care of me since I have been here.

I am not here a lot when they are here but usually they leave what they did. It is always timed at a time around the time that they said they would be here, etc and the punctuality is what I like the most about them. We didn't have a bug problem while we had them, but they are a little more expensive than some of the others. They came out when they were supposed to.We will probably not use them again, just because of the price.

We use them every quarter, and the experience has been good. I like that they are always quick to respond, and we are set up on a quarterly, and they sent us an email, and let us know when they are coming. If they are not coming, and they let us know. If we need anything extra done, we just call them, and they come out. They are quick to respond, and that stands out.

I have had excellent experience. I love the way they give us notice that they are coming, they spray outside, and they do it in timely fashion when they are here. They are very friendly, courteous, and they will work with you, and offer all sorts of suggestions, and tips. If you have any problems, or questions, you can call anytime, it is just very open.

We had a snafu with our first appointment. We didn't get put on the list and into the system, so they didn't show up for our first appointment. I called them to find out where they were and the young lady in the office said we weren't in the system, so I ended up emailing them through Angie's list. Garrett called me very quickly after receiving the email and said it was his fault we weren't in the system and set up another appointment for them to come out. He also gave me a free re-treatment to make up for the error. They guy who came to the house was so nice and very professional. Both my husband and I really liked him. For some reason, though, the spiders have returned, so I emailed them and was told to call and set up a re-treatment. They will be out next Monday. It's been a pretty wet spring, and I don't know if that has anything to do with why the spiders are back, but they are going to take care of it for us. Depending on how it goes, we may consider using them for year-round treatment. I would definitely recommend them.

Work was performed on time and as expected.

He was one time when he set up the appointment and when he came he was very professional and did an excellent job and went overboard treating the exterior of my daughters home.I purchased this for my daughter and she was very pleased with the treatment.I would definitely use this provider again.

They did a good job.. The technician was personable and the company set up the appointment very promptly.

We are happy with Bulwark. When they treat the outside, they do a very thorough job. They remove the cobwebs from overhangs etc. and spray around the foundation, up onto the outside walls, and out into the yard. They also treat inside the house and if any pests are found inside the house, they will come in between visits and re-treat the inside.

Bulwark bought out our previous service provider (Wolf Pest Control). There was no interruption of service but they do service bi-monthly instead of every 3 months as before. Obviously, this will increase the annual cost. I really was happy with Wolf Pest Control because I got to know the service technician and he was very thorough. The Bulwark techs are normally different each service trip and don't do quite the thorough treatment we are used to. I will continue their service but if it doesn't do as well as Wolf, I will probably go with a different service.

They are very prompt in responding to any pest problem we have called about. They are the only pest control specialist that has been able to eliminate our carpenter bees.
