Update: After speaking with Bulwark, there is no difference between the $79 and $99 package. The $99 package only covers spiders and ants, like the $79 package. I had further problems with flying insects, and they informed me that I would have to buy an additional package to treat these. I also had a flea problem, which was another additional charge. I really wanted to like this company because the initial tech was so friendly and knowledgable. After working with them past the initial treatment, I'm really disappointed that the company deceives customers with no difference between the $79/$99 package. I'm a young professional, and I thought that by buying the more expensive package that I'd be protected against more pests, but it's just a wording trick. Very disappointing. The tech that came out, Derrick Hamilton, was extremely friendly and helpful and explained everything he was doing very well and concisely. This left me very confident in my decision to choose Bulwark Exterminating. They are a great company who truly take care of their customers.

We initially had problems with fleas but they kept coming back until the fleas were gone. And there is no additional charge. We've more recently had issues with black ants, and they have been out several times to help with the problem. We are making progress!

Jay the Knoxville branch manager came out to do our initial setup. He was informative, friendly, and very efficient. I was so impressed I decided to the review immediately!

It turned out well. They came out within a week. We did have some issues with the initial charge. I have them come out every couple of months to treat. It has been pretty good. We had an ant issue here recently and they came out to take care of it. Their price is comparable to everybody else.

For each treatment, we were given a time window during which to expect the exterminator. He was punctual, courteous, informative, and sensitive to our concerns. We were surprised (and pleased) that before treatment, cobwebs were cleared away. Every contact we have had with a person from Bulwark Exterminating has included his (everyone I have talked to has been a man) urging us to let them know if they needed to come out between regular treatments (at no additional charge) to address an issue that may have arisen. We have been more than satisfied with our experience with Bulwark.

The experience was wonderful. The really did a good job. They were courteous and they were a little far and they still came. Sometimes they go the extra mile and the price was wonderful. It took them a week to schedule me.

We bought our house in Nov. 2013 and had not had any treatment since an initial one after moving in (by a different vendor). A few months ago we were beginning to see roaches (one or two at a time) appear intermittently in different locations. So I bought Bulwark's Angie's List special, due to the very high reviews on Angie's List. Two guys came promptly on the day of the appointment. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Did their work quietly and quickly and answered all of our questions. No more roaches! We are very pleased.

We had a great experience with the initial extermination. We have seen far less bugs. We are pricing monthly programs and may go with Bulwark once we know what we're going to have to pay.

It went very well. The service man was courteous and informative. We've hardly seen a bug since then (2 months now).

We have been pleased with them. We have been using them for about two years.

It was just a scheduling issue and it's understandable but I have decided to get my service elsewhere.

The pressure washer was spraying house, so he decided to come back at a later day. He sprayed inside walls behind outlets and left a few mouse traps.

It went fine on the first visit. We are having some trouble working out logistics for the second visit though. They sent me a text message 24 hours in advance with a 4 hour window and since I work full time that's not possible.

Update: Bulwark called and apologized for everything that went on and made it right. I would use them again.

It was quick and efficient. The cost was great. We have seen a couple of ants (compared to hundreds) since spraying but the company will come back out for up to 30 days if the problem isn't resolved. The gentleman on the phone was EXTREMELY responsive. He moved up the date for extermination when I expressed concern that my daughter (whose house I was buying the package for) would come unglued if she didn't get rid of the ants sooner than that. I was very pleased with their service and the results. The only negative was that the guy who came to do the service did not seem extremely knowledgeable or able to effectively articulate the reason that we shouldn't be concerned with poison being sprayed inside the house where 2 dogs and 3 young children reside. I called the company and the gentleman I talked to very patiently explained the chemicals, dosage, and effects. The gentleman spraying did so without protective clothing or masks, also giving assurances that it was safe.

Bulkwark consistently does a great job.

The provider contacted us and set up an appointment soon after we purchased a coupon on Angie's List. Someone came out to spray, arriving on time. After a few days, we continued to see stink bugs and crickets so we called Bulwark's and they came out and sprayed again, at no charge, as promised.

Mr Cravens was very professional and knowledgable. Will use this service again.

I was very happy with Bulwark. They put pellets around the outside of the house and sprayed the inside with dust. We have been finding dead bugs all around the house and haven't seen spiders in weeks. I'm very satisfied with their work.

They have quality service. Every time you need something, they will come out within a day with notice and they'll take care of it. They are the best price and service we found in the area.

Well, the review would have had more "A" ratings had the local office done what I asked in requesting the technician that sold me on his service. 3 phone calls from various sales people, office staff and "managers" and they couldn't put me in touch with the guy I wanted to do the work. To which the technician finally said to me that I should have called him directly. They had an AL promotion that I purchased, but when it came time to secure an appointment they dropped the ball. The technician that services my area is a supervisor and was too busy, someone else is gonna do the work, we're scheduled for tomorrow, oops, call back, not tomorrow, day after tomorrow, the best one was the young woman in Knoxville who didn't recognize the technician's name and said I had to talk to another salesman. When the original technician finally got the message to call me directly, after a pretty heated conversation with a corporate fella, he was shocked at how muddled the whole procedure was. "ya shoulda called me direct, the number's on the card". Got the "small company, growing pains, new person" excuses, but bottom line MY guy was great, he put me on a quarterly plan and the first one was FREE for Angies List subscribers. His name is Richard Rucker, if you live in far west Oak Ridge, Roane County all the way out to Crossville, he's your boy.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were good. Everything was fine. There were no additional charges. They had to come back a second time. I had nothing to measure them against because I hadn't used anybody in many years.
