Outstanding! They installed it within 24 hours of my initial call. When I missed their call (and my window!), they tried back, and still made it out quickly. The labor rate seemed a little high, but probably because they had two guys come out for what was really a one person job. Regardless, I'll certainly not hesitate to use them again if I need to. BTW...a week later, I'm waiting for the other company to call me to come look at it (said they'd be here the next day). Thanks!

On Saturday afternoon, June 28, my ice maker supply line began leaking severely with water pouring into the garage below. Turning off the supply valve didn't stop it, so I had to turn off the main. I called Brogdon first, having been told by a friend of their great service, which seemed to be confirmed by their high ratings on Angie's List. Their web site says they offer "24/7 emergency service immediate response," but when I called the only number provided here and on their web site (865-544-0221), I got an answering machine. I left a message informing them of the emergency nature of my situation. They never called back. I wasted valuable time waiting for a return call that never came. Eventually, I gave up and called someone else. In fairness to Brogdon, I had a similar experience with several other plumbers I called, all of whom advertised themselves as offering 24-hour service but who never returned my call. I will be submitting negative reports on them as well, along with a positive report about the plumber who actually answered the phone and took care of the situation.

Faucet had been dripping for about 2 months and was getting worse. The first plumber I called didn't show up, so found Brogdon in Angie's List. It turned out that the faucet assembly was cracked below the countertop surface and apparently had been incorrectly installed by a previous contractor. It probably took Brogdon about an hour to remove the old faucet due to the top assembly being jammed on so tightly (the hold-down nut was supposed to be hand-tight).

Bad, asked the repair man to look at other items in house and they could not fix them.

Seems a bit high. If not for the 10% coupon it would have been worse (price shown is pre-coupon). Professional and thorough. They spotted an error on their part and fixed it (they put in a 40gal tank to replace a 50gal tank and had to remove the new tank before leaving).

Workers arrived within several hours after morning call. Workers called before coming, and promptly arrived after calling. The broken irrigation line was inspected. The price to repair was too high to do on-the-spot, at more than $500, so we decided not to fix the irrigation line and back-flow valve. They told us someone had stolen our copper back-flow valve, which is apparently worth about $80 at a salvage place. It was recommended that the back-flow valve be covered with a lockable cover, or removed completely during the off season. I had them inspect an outside water spigot that had broken in the cold. I had shut off the water to that particular spigot. They quickly repaired the spigot and insulated the lines. Workers were nice and got the job done. We thought the price turned out to be a little high considering what was done, but we expected to pay the 1 hour service call no matter what so we were happy overall.

The arranged for an installation, scheduling us within a couple of days of our call. The gentlemen were on time for the appointment, and after surveying the crawlspace and location of the gas meter, began the installation. I was comfortable with their expertise. The installation went quickly. The estimate given us over the phone was accurate. We had the same type of work done at our last home in Michigan seven years ago and Brogdon's charges were in line with other installation company. We were very pleased with their service from our first contact over the telephone, through the installation process. We have no hesitation calling Brogdon Plumbing again for any plumbing problems in the future.

We were very pleased with the work and service this company provided several weeks earlier in replacing an old toilet, so we called them again to replace a second toilet in our home. We called on a Thursday morning and scheduled the work for the next day. But as events turned out they could actually come that same day. So they did. Excellent! The flooring around this toilet was in better shape than the previous one. Everything was neat and tidy and ready to go in a little more than an hour or so. We would definitely use this company again for our plumbing needs.

Overall the experience was very positive. They arrived on time as promised, worked efficiently and were pleasant to work with. The whole process took about two hours which included us trying to get rid of forty years of dirt and rust on the floor under the old toilet because the new toilet was not going to cover the same area. They left the area neat and tidy and took everything with them when finished. Also the toilet they recommended and installed has been working very well.

Responded promptly to repair request. Quickly defined and resolved each problem. Knowledgeable. 1 Man with Helper. Polite. May have used lower cost alternative plumbers but Brogdon was the only one with skills including specializing in Gas Leaks and clean report on BBB. For more difficult jobs would use again. For simple jobs possibly somewhat higher on cost than locals.

I called their number and was greeted by a pleasant gentleman, who promptly asked how he could help. He took down my contact info and advised me he would be in contact as soon as a plumber finished up a job, to let us know when they would be here (they arrived about an hour and a twenty minutes later). He also estimated that the cost would be between $125 and $225. The actual cost was $177 including parts. The plumber and apprentice were pleasant. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the experience. The plumber actually also went under the house and turned the house valve back on (one that I had turned off earlier when trying to locate the source of the leak) after the check was signed. I would recommend them to anyone asking.

The process took about 7-10 days to complete, starting with an estimate we thought was quite high until we got another one. We also had to arrange for other utility lines to be located, something we didn't hear from the contractor until they were on site to do the estimate. The majority of the work was done in about three hours; however, a part needed to be ordered that took several more hours to get and install.

I was pleased with the service provided by Brogdon Plumbing Company. They were here in a day or so after I called them. The worker was polite. They are trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable about all plumbing services. I will continue to use their services.

I would recommend this company to anyone because of the great job that they did. They made sure to answer all of our questions and responded with honesty. They did the job right the first time so that we felt safe with the work and knew that were would not have to hire another company again. I was very pleased with the service and the prices are fairly reasonable as well.

We were very happy with the minimal amount of yard they tore up to do the job. This is something we talked about when they first came over to solve the problem. They agreed to try and dig as small a hole as possible. After they finished with the work, they filled it in and laid the sod back over it. After one month the yard was back to normal. We appreciated there efforts on this and will continue to hire them for all of our plumbing work.

This company did not get the work done at all. They stated that they could not fix it and had to actually come back two times to do it. They still, in the end could not get the clog out, and I ended up having to do it. I don't understand what they were doing, but they got me and they got away with my money. This company is not trustworthy at all. They really do bad work.

They do excellent work for the price I paid. They have done several jobs for me and they have always done a good job. I was lucky I found someone I can trust to do my plumbing and these guys are definitely it. I will use this company again anytime.

I thought this company did an excellent job. I am very conscientious of who I let work in my home. I have never had any problems with this company providing great service. The work is great and the prices are cheap, so how can I complain?
