Description of Work: Barely three years ago we spent nearly $1,000 on what we were told was a high-quality leather chair. It turned out to be only part leather and the front of the left arm has developed cracks in what appears to be cheap vinyl. I visited Bill Cox Furniture two days ago and left the store with the impression that they were going to make it right. Boy was I wrong. They want more than $250 to fix the chair, and that's simply unacceptable. I was under the impression that Bill Cox Furniture is all about quality and service. Boy was I wrong. Buyer beware! There are many better options in Knoxville and the area.

Description of Work: I ordered a sofa and recliner. The sofa was identical (style and color) to the model on the floor. After receiving the sofa, I noted that the item received didn't include brass nail heads as it did in the store. As a result, I called the store and asked to speak to someone who could assist with the issue. I was given the run around, phone calls were never returned, and I finally visited the store only to be told that the sales rep wasn't there and he would have to call me back. Finally, I was told about 2 weeks later that because I signed off on an invoice that didn't include a sofa with brass nail heads, I was responsible for the mistake. It should be noted that the invoice only included a sofa name, color, and manufacturer order number. During the ordering process, I was never given a brochure or website to verify an order number against what I ordered so I wouldn't have known whether the manufacturer order number was correct on the invoice or not. After bringing this issue to the sales rep's attention, the manager's attention, the owner's attention, and the owner's son attention, Bill Cox furniture was not willing to correct the problem they made (the sales rep put down a wrong order number on my invoice).
