We recently had an issue with the washing machine and called Barney's to come look at it. The tech arrived during the scheduled time and looked at the unit. He explained what could be the problem - there were two potential issues. The first being a switch, the other being the motherboard. We ordered the part and he came back the next day. When the problem was the motherboard, the tech told us it was not the switch and it would be better to purchase a new unit instead of replacing the motherboard - though he would if we wanted him to. He also told us that he would not charge for the part he ordered since it did not fix the washer. He also told us where we could go to look at scratch and dent units to save money. We were so impressed with Bernye's we called him back the next to fix a refrigerator that would not dispense water for some time.

I'm not certain why my initial review was not accepted on 3/6, but, out of desperation and having done ALL to remedy my Kenmore dishwasher not cleaning well, I called Berny's and wonderful Bernardo came to our rescue. Initially, we both thought it to be a bad circulation pump ($350), but Bernardo checked for errors and determined it could be a bad turbidity sensor ( $16 on EBay). If not that, circuit board where this sensor plugs in could be bad. The great tech he is, he recognized my small appliance repair prowess and agreed, at my insistence, to show me where the sensor could be found, replaced, etc. Ordered sensor on EBay and literally took me 15 min. to replace. I spent more time cleaning up the water that came out of filter. I am running through first load of dishes. Typically it works fine after a hard reset (turned power off to dishwasher) so will have to wait for a second wash. Like having a family member who is a doctor, everyone should have a "Bernardo" in the family!

The tech was friendly and explained everything so that I could understand the issue with my dishwasher. He came out on a Saturday with no extra charge. They are reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

The best service ever! Next day service and not only was my stove fixed but they did all the routine maintenance as well. Super friendly!!

He fixed the fridge and knew what needed done and even cleaned under the fridge for me. Would definitely hire again. Very honest when I asked him about a problem I was having with dryer, could have charged me to look at it but didn’t. Not something you see very much in today’s world. Would definitely hire again

I contacted Berny’s Appliance the night I discovered my dryer wasn’t working and they responded within minutes to schedule service the next morning. Bernardo is very polite and professional and honest and upfront about prices and costs. He found me a replacement part the same business day. He is very thorough with his work and repaired our dryer so it is running like new! Highly recommended.

I put in the request for my Samsung dryer because the power button wasn’t working. I got a called from Bernardo immediately. He told me he could come same day. It didn’t take him long to let me know my control board was burnt. He order the part and it took a few days for it to come back in. He texted to let me know that the part was in & he came the next day to fix. It didn’t take long and now my dryer power button is working. I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again if I had an appliance not working.
